Brotherly Duties.

Life with a newborn can be very difficult, early mornings, late nights. And it can sometimes be even worse if there are other children in the household.

Although, in the Torretto household, the only problems that seemed to be present was the lack of sleep.

Little Brian was delighted to have a little sister. The two were inseparable, even though little Sofia was too young to play with him, Little B was happy to sit alongside his mom and just watch his sister and try to make her smile. The way the two kids interacted warmed their parents hearts.

One night Little B had woken up in the middle of the night. Usually when this happened he would go into his parents and ask them for the time, if late enough they would get up with him and begin to go about their day.

He had fiddled with his door handle and was making his way to his parents room. Just before he reached the door he heard Sofia let out a loud wail. Brian turned on his heels and went to her room.

He opened the door and walked over to her crib. "Hi sissy" he whispered gently. "Don't cry sissy. I here". Letty had woken up hearing Sofia's cry, figuring it was time for s feeding. She began making her way to the room when she heard little B's voice. She peaked through the door and witnessed the interaction.

Brian rubbed her cheek and tried to calm her. "You're safe, Sissy". He soothed. For a three year old, this little boy was very caring. Dom walked being his wife. "What's going?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist. Letty moved her head allowing Dom to see the sight she had fallen in love with.

Brian gently placed her pacifier back in her mouth. "Good night sissy. I love you". He said as he kissed her head before he went to leave the room. Dom and Letty were waiting outside the door. "Oh, hi mommy. Hi daddy. Sissy was crying so I went to make her happy". He said.

"You are the best big brother ever, little man". Letty said as she hugged her son. "Good job buddy. Thanks for helping us out". Dom also encouraged. "Now let's get you back to bed as well". Letty said as she carried him back to bed. They tucked him in and gave him a kiss. "See you in the morning, bubba". Letty said. "Good night, son". Dom finished.

"How did we get so lucky with that kid?" Letty questions as they walk back towards their room. "No idea" Dom answered honestly. " But we are definitely doing something right".

Letty wiped a tear from her eye. "You getting soft on me, Mrs Torretto?" Dom teased. "No....my hormones are just all over the place since she was born" she sniffed. "My two babies are so happy with each other, my fears really were for nothing ". She continued. "Told you". Dom said as they got back into bed. "I love you papi". She said as she clutched on to him. Pregnancy had really messed with her brain and she found herself feeling more vulnerable at times, she knew this would leave as time went on however, so she just let fun be poked at it until she was ready to fire back. "I love you too Mami". He replied.

And within moments the two had fallen fast asleep, ready for another amazing, surreal day with their two amazing kids.
