Many thanks to loomriah for the foundations of this one shot. Go and read her wonderful story. The Tiana Ortiz Torreto Story. Now on with the show my family.

Peace... That's the word that Dom had thought he would never be able to experience again as did his wife.

Years of running from the cops, finding someone for Nobody, running against his team to save his son that he never knew existed.

But now here they were, having a "sleep in" he couldn't think of the last time he had ever had one.

(meanwhile with Letty)

She had been woken up by sounds of distress coming from their new housemate. Little Brian Marcos Torreto. She looked over at her husband, he was sleeping so peacefully.

Although she was tired herself, she decided to go get the little guy. She went into the barely finished nursery and picked up little Brian.

She had never had all that much experience with kids, other than her nephew and niece. But she had to admit, this kid was really giving her a whole new look on kids.

"hey, bubba". She whispered into his ear. "you wide awake?" she asked as she looked at him with a smile. "let's go back to our room and wait for daddy to wake up".

She brought the baby back into their room and got back into the bed. She had Brian sitting on her stomach. She was playing with his little hands. God she was glad no one could see the tough, hard ass, Letty Torreto, being domestic and warm. The teasing would never end.

"you look just like your daddy, you know that?" she said to the baby in a tone that would get him to smile. "you've got his eyes, his smile".

"don't forget my love for you. He has that too".  She turned to look at Dom looking up at them. From his point of view the sunlight coming in from window beside her made her just a silhouette surrounded by light. He was sure it was an angel he was looking at.

"hey, daddy. Little man was waiting for you to get up". Letty said as she lowered herself to Dom's level. "hey buddy. Did you sleep good?" he asked the baby obviously not expecting an answer.

He gave Letty a kiss that was passionate as she smiled into it. Then gave little Brian a kiss on the forehead.

The small family of three remained in bed for a little while longer. The peace they needed was finally with them. Now they could enjoy it for as long as they wanted.

(short and sweet. I pray my next one will be longer... Where did I hear that before? Anyway until next time my readers. So looooonng for now.)
