Am I the only one that imagines like a really long rural road leading up to Wayne manor? Just me? Alright.
This one is dedicated to JordynAdams1 for their request. I hope you like it. It's really just a hodgepodge of fluff, angst, and a wee bit of dadybats
———————————————————————————Dick scowled at his phone. Great. Just great. Bruce had a league meeting and apparently 3AM him had been out of it just enough to agree to watching his siblings while Bruce was gone.
Of course Dick loved spending time with his family and all, but when they were all together things tended to head downhill rather quickly.
A knock at his door as well as the sound of muffled shouting and hitting alerted Dick to the presence of his brothers.
Dick rolled his eyes and plastered a smile onto his face before making his way to the door.
The fighting immediately quieted when Dick opened the door, and the three siblings standing at his door tried to act as innocent and nonchalant as possible.
Dick looked questioningly at Jason, wondering why he was there. Out of all the younger bats he was definitely the most capable of taking care of himself, especially considering that he lived on his own. "Why are you here?" He asked the 2nd oldest.
"I thrive off of chaos," was Jason's only reply.
Dick closed his eyes and sighed. "Alright then, get in the car, we're going somewhere special."
"This better be something practical and not just 'for fun' as you generally insist on, because I have better things I could be doing," Damian grumbled as they walked toward Dick's car.
"You're a freaking child, what kinds of better things could you be doing right now?" Tim asked, sliding into the back of the car.
"Things that don't involve you," Damian replied with a glare.
Dick sighed. "For the sake of my sanity could you guys please just let this be one peaceful evening without any fighting," he begged.
"Ya right," Jason snorted. "I'd probably die from shock if the little gremlins were able to do that."
Damian paused and looked at Tim distastefully. "I suppose I'd be willing to consider a temporary truce if it results in Todd's death," he said after a moment.
Tim smothered a laugh. "I'll try to keep the peace for your sake Dickie," he said.
"Oh good," Jason said. "Let's see how long this lasts."
—
Dick pulled into the parking lot of Dynamic Mini Golf and parked the car.
So far there hadn't been any fighting, but he knew that was too good to last the whole night.
"Mini golf?" Tim asked apprehensively. "I didn't know they had mini golf in Gotham.
"It's new," Dick replied, hopping out of the car and donning his hoodie, making sure to pull the hood up and put his shades on. "Make sure to cover up guys, we don't want to end up on the news or something," he said, handing out extra pairs of shades, hats, and hoodies that he'd brought with him.
Eventually they were all sufficiently disguised, with Jason even going as far as to pull out a fake mustache from whoever knows where and stick it onto his face.
"Hello, how can I help y'all today," a friendly woman asked from behind the front counter.
"Hi... Adult prices are for anyone above the age of 12 right?" Dick asked, glancing at Damian.
