" I'm having a party tonight"

You looked at the girl who had taken the seat to your left. Wanda had been trying to get you to come to one of her parties since she met you.

You two had known each other since your sophomore year in high school. Now you were in college and things hadn't really changed.

Wanda was popular as ever and a respected member of her sorority. You were just an average college student trying to get your degree.

" You have a party every Friday"

" Exactly, and you haven't come to one. It's literally criminal"

You rolled your eyes," Like you'd even notice if I was there."

She grabbed onto your arm and shook you a bit," Of course I'd notice if my best friend finally decided to come to one of my parties"

She was giving you those eyes that you could hardly ever resist. Her smile was almost reaching past her eyes, hoping she could convince you.

" 45 minutes"

" An hour and a half"

" 30 minutes"

" 2 hours"

" This isn't going to work out if we both keep going in opposite directions, you know," you spoke, causing her to relent.

" You at least to stay for an hour Y/nn please"

You sighed," An hour and not a minute later"

She squealed in her seat," This is going to be so much fun Y/n, I promise"

You doubted that this would be any fun for you. There was a reason you hadn't attended any of Wanda's parties before. College students don't party, they rave. They drink, have sex, and do drugs, and you just weren't into that sort of thing.

You didn't even like to dance. There was no logical reason for you to be at a college party. Of course, Wanda couldn't see it that way. She was popular, and she'd never understand that your lives were different.

Not because she was self-centered or anything like that, but Wanda was naive. She didn't care about the status she was given therefore, to her, it didn't affect her, but it did.

The rest of your day was you trying to prepare yourself for the party. You worked on getting up the nerves to actually go. There was honestly a whole argument going on in your head about why you even agreed to this.

"Stupid freaking smile, stupid pretty eyes," you mumbled to yourself as you walked to Wanda's house. She didn't live too far from you, and you doubted there would be parking, so you decided to walk.

As you approached Wanda's house, you could already see that the cars were packed all the way down the street. There were people lingering in her front yard, talking, drinking, and smoking.

You thought about turning around right then, but you had already made it this far. You took a deep breath and made your way through Wanda's front yard.

" This has to be a dream because there's no way I see Y/n Y/ln at one of my sister's parties"

You relax a little seeing a familiar face greet you in the yard," I wish it was a dream, Pietro because I'd rather be anywhere else"

He brings you in for a hug and to your surprise he doesn't smell like smoke or alcohol.

" This is definitely not your crowd," he chuckles, and you nod," I wish someone would tell your sister that. Maybe then she won't guilt-trip me into coming"
