The relationship between Lauren and Y/n was strictly a simple friendship. At least that's what Lauren said any time she ended up in Y/n's bed. It was always under the same pretenses. Lauren and Ty would get into a fight, then she'd find herself at Y/n's. Y/n never intended to sleep with Lauren it would just occur naturally.

When Lauren came over Y/n would hold her and comfort to the best of her abilities but, after that it's really unclear how it happens, they end up waking up next to each other. The first time it happened they swore it would never happen again. But it did, over and over and over.

Like any human, Y/n slowly started to develop feelings for the Latina. Not just for the sex but she started falling for Lauren's personality. She already knew the green eyed girl better than anyone else but adding sex was the breaking point for Y/n.

She feels so guilty for sleeping with Lauren especially with Ty in the picture. It's just... if Lauren Jauregui is basically begging for you to take care of her, what are you supposed to do?

Tonight happens to be one of the nights Ty and Lauren have a fight. Meaning Lauren is at Y/n's doorstep waiting to be comforted. That's what Y/n is thinking as she approaches her front door at 3 am.

She opens the door to find Lauren in probably the worst state she had ever seen her. Her clothes were ripped and her body looked bruised. Not to mention she was soaking wet as it was raining pretty hard.

Y/n wasted no time getting Lauren inside the house. " What happened to you, Laur?" Y/n waited for an answer but it never came. Lauren was shivering so much she couldn't answer.

Y/n sighed, grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the upstairs bathroom. " We're going to warm up ok?" Lauren nodded her teeth chattering intensely.

Y/n began to fill the bath with warm water for the shivering girl. When the tub was full Lauren wasted no time getting in it. Not even bothering to strip first. Lauren let out a deep breath as she submerged herself in the water.

Y/n sat on the sink, watching the girl in the tub. Lauren was still with her eyes closed that was until there was a loud banging on Y/n's front door. The sudden noise caused the girl to flinch.

Y/n hopped off the sink ready to go to the door but Lauren called her," If it's him... I'm not here." Y/n gave a curt nod before continuing to the front door.

When she opened it she was not surprised to see Ty standing there. " Is Lauren here?" Y/n looked the man up and down noticing his hands were bruised. Almost as if he had been in a fight. She clenched her jaw before answering the man," No."

Ty was peeking in the house to make sure she wasn't there," She's not here. Now it's 3am please get off of my porch"

" What's your problem with me Y/n? Mad that Lauren chose to be with a real man," Ty shoved her shoulder.

Y/n stepped outside the house and closed the door behind her. She stood face to face with Ty not bothered by the rain at all.

" I don't like you because you treat my best friend like shit. Not only do you abuse her emotionally but this time you put your hands on her. You are a fucking piece of shit."

He smirked, " So she is here then," he reached for the front door but Y/n smacked his hand away.

" You need to leave or I'm calling the police," Y/n holds her ground unafraid of the larger man.

Ty pushed Y/n so her body slammed against the front door. Her head throbbed in pain but she didn't let him get to Lauren.

In a swift movement Y/n had punched Ty directly in the nose. The sudden move shocked them both. Ty reached for his nose which now looked slightly crooked.

" Stay away from here and stay away from Lauren." Y/n took no time opening her front door and slamming it behind her.

She took a deep breath as her back rested against the door. She winced as her head laid against the door. She moved from that position seeing a small amount of blood staining the door.

" Are you ok? I thought I heard a crash" Lauren appeared wearing some of Y/n's pjs. " I'm ok Laur, are you ok?"

Lauren approached Y/n resting her head in the crook of Y/n's neck," I will be." Y/n's arms found there way around Lauren's waist," He's not going to hurt you anymore. I should've stopped him a long time ago. Honestly I never should've let him be with you."

Lauren removed her head from Y/n's neck so that they faced each other. " I'm an adult Y/n. I would've been with him anyway."

Y/n chuckled and shook her head," I didn't mean it like that Lauren. I meant it as 'maybe' I should've been with you instead."

Lauren's eyes snapped to Y/n's," oh." Lauren looked down to avoid Y/n's eyes, but Y/n wasn't having it. " You can't tell me you don't feel anything when you're with me Lauren. We've been friends for as long as I can remember and we've been intimate for the last 2 years. I love you and I think I always have."

" Y/n-"

" I know he hurt you, but I'm not him. I understand that you just left him and-"

" Y/n"

" You think he's the best you could do and that you don't know how to move on and-"

" Y/N!"

Y/n actually shut up that time.

" I love you too," Lauren smiled at the other girl.

" Really?"

" Really."

Y/n grabs Lauren's face and smashes their lips together.

Both girls couldn't help but smile when the kiss broke.

" I love you Lauren and as long as I live, I promise no one will hurt you."
