The two of you locked eyes from opposite sides of the hallway. You were enamored by her appearance and she seemed to feel the same way about you. Her eyes slowly cascaded up your body until she was peering directly into your eyes.

A thin smile spread on her lips," Don't you look charming, hot date?"

Your smile was smug," Actually, yes I have a very hot date tonight. Had to dress to impress. What about you? You look absolutely stunning and you couldn't possibly have done this all for a night in."

She brings her hand over chest," Oh you've caught me red handed. I've also got an extremely hot date tonight. Do you think she'll like it?"

She gave you a little twirl at the end. Showing off her outfit. Nat had on a beautiful skirt and blouse to accompany it. She had a few on a necklace, earrings, and a bracelet. Her auburn hair was perfectly curled and her lips were painted to match.

" I think she'll love it"

The two of you laughed before Natasha grabbed your hand. You smiled to yourself at the sensation. She led you out of the compound and you walked in comfortable silence until you had made it to the main street.

" It's a nice night out so, I wanted to walk with you if that's alright?" She was focused on the ground below her.

You gave her hand a gentle squeeze, causing her to look up at you," It's perfect, Nat"

She blushed and then it was silent again. You could almost feel the gears turning in Natasha's head as she tried to come up with something to say to you.

" I don't necessarily know if you like it, but I've seen you eat pizza before. So I thought we could grab a slice and walk around the city and after that maybe we could stop again for a milkshake? It's no pressure if you had something else in mind I just-"

" Natasha, that sounds amazing, I would love to explore the city with you"

She lets out an exasperated laugh," Sorry, I'm just a little nervous. I really want this to go well"

" We haven't done much, but I just like being with you. I don't think anything can go too bad if your hand is in mine." you make sure to reassure your date.

She rolls her shoulders a bit," You're right, this kind of just feels perfect," she was silent for a second," How was team bonding?"

" It was interesting. Tony was endearing, Bruce is trying to find a cure for my memory loss, Thor told me something about home, Steve and Clint gave me some dating advice. The boys were way more considerate than I thought they would be"

She nodded," They can be when they want to. What about Wanda?"

" Wanda is fucking amazing. She helped me get ready for our date and then she went into my head and helped me pull out a childhood memory. She couldn't get to the stuff directly before I joined the team, so she told me to think further than that. I ended up with this memory of me and my ma. I couldn't really see her face, but the warmth was still there"

Natasha beamed when she saw how animated you became," I assume it was a good memory then"

" It was the best Natty. My ma had made this pie. It was a peach pie and I was maybe 5. We shared a slice. I was a cute kid too, I never thought I'd be that cute. I can't believe how adorable I was"

She chuckled," I guess some things from your past are the same"

You blush as you realize Natasha is calling you adorable, " If you say so"

Natasha stops in her tracks and looks into your eyes," I do"

You could've turned into a puddle on the spot. The intensity in her eyes was enough to make you blush even more. You could see the smirk appearing on her face as she noticed how flustered you were getting.
