Joker and Harley oneshots and headcanons.

birthday girl

Harley woke up to a feeling of a large hand rubbing her shoulder. she slowly opened her eyes turning her head to see who it was.

"Good morning, birthday girl" Joker smiled softly looking down at her. "hi, puddin" she whispered still not fully awake. "happy birthday, baby," J said kissing her on the forehead.

Harley smiled and turned round to snuggle into his chest like she always did. "you wanna cuddle?" he asked. she nodded enthusiastically. "Okay, baby girl" he purred wrapping an arm around her. Joker used his free hand to play with a small piece of her hair wrapping it around his finger, occasionally stroking it with his thumb. "I like when you do that" Harley smiled.

"and I like doing it" J replied, twirling his ring finger around a small strand of blond and blue hair, giving her a kiss on the head. "Daddy might have gotten you a few presents sweetness." Harley giggled "Liiiiiiikkkkeee what?" she asked excitedly. "ah ah ah, you have to wait until you go downstairs, Harls." he tapped her nose playfully making Harley let out a small squeal.

5 minutes later

"Puuudddin" Harley said excitedly. "Haaaaarrlleey" Joker said back in the same tone she used. "what did ya get me." "How about we go and see pumpkin." Joker took her hand and then guided her out of bed making her squeal once again "Puddin, it's cold!" Harley exclaimed.

J grabbed her Hyena onesie from the front of the bed and threw it at her, laughing as he did so. "Problem solved!" he smirked and Harley rolled her eyes before putting on the onesie because she was still cold.

"Ya ready, baby?" Joker asked, Now sat on the black couch with Harley who was also sitting on the couch in front of him "Mmmh!" she said cheerfully, her eyes closed. 

Harley suddenly felt something small and soft on her lap "Open your eyes, babydoll!."

She opened her eyes to see that two baby hyenas were placed on her lap. "OH, Puddin thank you thank youuu! Oh my god, they're so cute!." Joker smiled at how excited she was. 

"How did you get them," she asked, Now cradling one in her arms. "some closed down zoo, I had been looking for somewhere to get them, checked there and someone had forgotten the two" he answered, watching her shocked expression. "Oh poor babies, your safe with me now you're safe with mommy" she cooed, kissing them both on the head. 

in a way, Joker got the hyenas for himself. he knew how lonely Harley got when he was out somewhere for business and when he was away he was constantly worried about whether she was safe so with the two hyenas Harley wasn't as lonely and he wasn't as concerned about her safety, it was two birds with one stone.

Harley placed the two hyena pups down then moved to sit on J's lap, giving him multiple kisses. "Thank soo much, Puddin!." Joker chuckled happily. "You're welcome, baby" he smiled kissing her on the cheek. 

Joker and Harley had a long day, they opened a few more presents, made a cake together, Danced, watched some of Harley's favourite films. a completely perfect day that ended exactly as it started, both of them laying in bed cuddled up to each other, except two little hyena pups laid fast asleep beside them.

"What are you gonna name them, darling?" J asked, lightly petting Harley's head making her smile as she looked down at the two and thought for a moment. "Bud" she booped one on the nose. "And Lou" she booped the other on the nose.  

"Perfect" J nodded and Harley brought her head back to his chest, sighing contently.

"I love you, Puddin." "I love you too, baby."

With that, the clown fell into a peaceful sleep, worn out from their long day.

And Harley could barley wait for Joker's birthday.   

okay I am fucking tired it is literally 3 am why do I always write at night!
