This is what I think would have happened if the helicopter didn't crash when Joker came for Harley:)

Joker grabbed Harley's hand, pulling her up.

"Puddin!"

he sighed with relief, finally hearing that beautiful voice that he had missed so much.

J didn't have time to embrace the relief as Harley threw her arms around his neck, kissing him, holding herself to him as if he'd disappear if she let go.

Instinctively, he tightly wrapped his arms around her lower back, before purring into their kiss.

"You got all dressed up for me," Harley giggled after pulling away, her pigtails flying in the strong wind, gently brushing against Joker's face. "Oh, you know I'd do anything for you," he replied, then moved his head so that his lips were next to her ear. "By the way, I've got some grape soda on ice and a bearskin rug waiting." "Yeah."

J took her hand in his and led her into the helicopter.

They both sat down on the benches and Harley put her head against his chest, tears starting to slowly roll down her cheeks. "Baby, what's wrong." J gently kissed her cheek, just above her heart tattoo. "I-I missed you so much, Puddin, I thought I'd be in there f-f-forever and I'd never s-see you again," she cried softly.

J wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into his lap, just like he used to before they got separated. "Shhhh, I'm here, I'm here...Daddy's here.." he held her body close to his, cradling her in his lap.

Harley's cries turned into gentle sighing, she had almost forgotten how comforting and safe it felt to be held on his lap. "You're so tiny," Joker smiled, making her giggle softly. "My little baby."

Harley moved so that her legs were curled up, but whimpered when J's body made contact with a deep scrape on her knee. "Ow."

Concerned, Joker looked down to where her leg was and saw the bad looking scrape. "Oh, baby that's really deep," he said, analysing the wound. "I'm fine, Puddin, it's just a little scratch, that's all." J sighed at her reply. "No, it's very deep, Baby girl, it might get infected. I figured you'd have some marks so I brought some things with me."

He started gently moving Harley off his lap to get something from his bag but she started clinging to him, preventing him from doing so. "No! I don't wanna move!"

J realised that she didn't want to be alone again and kissed her forehead. "Baby, Daddy's not going anywhere, he's just gonna go a few steps away, okay." Harley bowed her head, but nodded and stopped clinging to him. "I'll be back in a second."

after getting what he needed, J sat down next to Harley and kissed her cheek. "Come here, princess," he smiled and pulled her legs over his. "I love you," Harley said softly as he opened the antiseptic cream he brought. "aww, I love you too, Doll." J removed his gloves before he started carefully applying the cream onto her scraped knee. luckily, when she got it it had ripped through her fishnets so it was much easier for him to apply it.

"Eehh, It's cold!" Harley squealed making Joker laugh a bit. "Of course it's cold, baby, it's antiseptic cream, silly girl."

after he finished applying the cream he cleaned his hands and then put a plaster over her knee, tapping her nose affectionately.

"You care too much," Harley smiled and J shook his head. "Hmm, I don't think I do...I just love you unconditionally," He answered, twirling her blue pigtail between his fingers. "I love ya too, Daddy."
