Mornings

I'm currently working on a much better and longer oneshot but it's taking me a bit to finish so I'm posting this short fic. also this has literally no plot what so ever I'm just getting in my own head about not publishing a one shot for ages.

Harley gently knocked on J's office door.

She had woken up half an hour ago and got ready, after she couldn't hear Joker anywhere she assumed that he was in his office.

"Puddin?"

J looked up from his work and said "come in, baby!"

Harley opened the door and closed it behind her, then sat on the edge of J's desk, looking over the things he was using.

"How's my baby girl doing this morning?" Harley giggled quietly in reply. "I want my morning snuggles."
J smiled and patted his lap for her to come over. she hopped off his desk and placed herself onto his lap. "I love youu."

Their peace was interrupted by a knock on the office door.

"What!" J barked, clearly not happy about someone disrupting their special morning routine. "Boss, it's me." They heard Frost say. J rolled his eyes but told him to come in.
"Boss, miss Quinn, I was just checking in to see if you were both still doing today's heist so I could get everything ready."

J was about to say yes before Harley placed her chin on his chest, pouting at him. "Frost, a moment?" Frost nodded and left the room, closing the door.

"What, Baby, you only pout like that when you want something?" Harley fake sighed. "I just was hopin' that we could have a little day to ourselves, since we've been sooo busy and all....it's okay." J smiled to himself, she always knew how to get what she wanted from him. "Okay, kitten..we can have a day off if you want, we can do the heist next Wednesday, how does that sound?" Harley smiled and nodded, happy that her strategy worked like usual. J called frost back in and told him to move it up to next Wednesday and he left, leaving Harley and J alone again.

"Now where were we, Baby girl." Harley giggled quietly and nestled back into him. "I think we were having are morning cuddles."
