Joker and Harley oneshots and headcanons.

- Harley loves giving Joker handmade cards, she doesn't need any occasion. They're always covered in hearts and I love you's. Joker cherishes each one of them. They're dotted around his office, their bedroom, and he has a whole drawer full of them. Those cards were one of the reasons that he was able to survive whilst Harley was in prison.

- Occasionally when Harley's having trouble sleeping, Joker will read a bedtime story to her. Usually a short one, though occasionally he'll pick a longer one off the bookshelf and Harley will beg him to finish it the next night; which he has no issue doing.

- While Harley obviously has little to no care or empathy for people, she is incredibly empathetic and caring for animals. She's the type to foster a tiny bird that got hit and was ignored by everyone walking past or cradle a cold kitten to her chest, give them pets and kisses until they were all warm again. She completely believes that animals are better, and more deserving of kindness than humans are. She giggles manically when a person dies in a movie, but cries her eyes out when it's an animal. Joker has to look at reviews for any animal deaths before watching a film with her to prevent tears.

- Joker has very thought out, very fancy hand writing. Harley just scribbles down anything as quick as she can. Most of the time when she leaves him notes, he has to ask in the nicest way he can, what the fuck it says.

- One way Joker managed to cope when Harley was at Belle Reve, was writing letters to her, writing down what he wanted to say to her; he was first taught of it by Harleen while in Arkham. A few years later, Harley found them stacked in a box in a drawer, and cried her eyes out whilst reading them.

- J has a habit of tapping with his finger when he’s stressed. When Harley notices him doing it, she takes his hand in her’s and gently rubs the back of it with her thumb. If they’re alone she’ll ask him if he’s okay and kiss his hand, but if people are around she’ll just hold his hand and give him loving glances or whisper calming words into his ear because she knows he isn't comfortable with expressing his emotions in front of other people.

- One of their favorite past times is watching crime documentaries and making bets on what's going to happen. The money part is pointless since they share their money anyway, god knows they have enough, but they think it has more "character" than just saying what they think will happen.

I have risen from the dead.

I haven't actually. What's been happening is that I've joined another fandom, I'm not leaving this one by any means, I just can't be obsessed with two things at once. I'm on Tumblr by the name of moonypears-blog, the fandom is Sofia the first, but it mostly focuses on Cedric and Sofia (No shipping that is disgusting. Sofia is a child. Father/daughter vibes only.) I had these headcanons sitting in my notes and decided to post them. Anyways, I might be back soon, might not, my brain is just being eaten by a sad, gay sorcerer with Daddy issues and his emotional support purple princess.
