Joker and Harley oneshots and headcanons.

Headcannons

•for a few months after J saved Harley from belle reve, Harley could only sleep with the curtains open because it reminded her that she was safe in Gotham and dulled her fear of waking up back in prison. after she told J that he made sure every night that the bedroom curtains were open.

•(I love this one) Joker knows some Spanish and sometimes calls Harley 'mi reina' which means 'My Queen' and 'bebita' which means 'Baby girl'.

• J did the majority of Harley's piercings and there's some that only he knows she has;)

•There's security cameras in Joker's office and he has to delete footage at least once a week for reasons you can figure out yourself;)

•(Inspired by the scenes of Joker growling and Harley barking/biting) J and Harley get into little play fights with each other where He'll growl and She'll bark, Harley's usually sat on his lap and starts it by barking at him and it evolves into them laughing and making their noises at each other. When they get knew henchmen they'll think they're fighting with each other and Frost hast to tell them it's just one of their weird ways of showing affection towards one another:)

• Harley finds it hard to sleep without J holding her. It makes her feel unprotected and like something could just come up and attack her every second, but when she's being held by him she knows she's safe and it makes her feel taken care of and protected.

•Going off of that, Joker also finds it hard to sleep without holding her. He feels as if his baby is out in the open, nothing to protect her. He knows better than anyone that she can take care and protect herself but that still doesn't dull the worry he feels when she's sleeping alone.

• Harley likes to make jokes about how J is a lot older than her and he always tells her to stop but she refuses.
