Jennifer's P.O.V

"Hi, thank you for meeting me." All of a sudden he's so formal.

"You know I'd do anything for you. So, why did you request to see me so soon? Do you miss me?"

"... this is strictly business." His face turns stern, god I love when he gets like this. Moving my hand forward I brush it over his arm and he hesitates but eventually moves away.

"Same as always?"

"No this time it's different." When he says that I quickly realise that we have an audience, who is that? I swear I've seen her face before. Regardless I let my fingers dance on Spencer's hand and watch her eyes follow with horror, is that his new distraction? "What are you doing?" He snaps me out of my train of thought.

"Spens, whoever she is, whatever you guys have, she will never be what I am to you and you know it." Just one more push, leaning forward I gently place the palm of my hand on his cheek and for that second that he rests his face on it, a painful look washes over the woman's face and she runs out of the restaurant, just as he pushes my hand away. Got you.

"That's precisely the point." He says.

"Huh?"

Aurora's P.O.V

My heart. My heart aches, my heart, I can feel it breaking. Running as quickly as I can I don't hear Soyer calling out to me until I run into Prescotts arms and she snaps me out of the trans I'm in.

"Miss Anderson are you okay?!" She looks at me concerned and on alert.

"Get me out of here Prescott." I say sadly and she opens the door for me. When Soyer comes back they talk for a bit outside of the car before getting in. "I'm sorry." I say to Soyer and he offers me a small smile, nodding.

"Where would you like to go Miss?"

"Home." I breathe out, resting my head on my palm and looking out the window at the blurry environment. I don't know when I fell asleep but I wake up in Cy's arms as he carries me upstairs. "Hey." I whisper and he looks down at me, smiling.

"Hey." Gently laying me on the bed I tug on his his t-shirt, asking him to stay with me.

"Don't leave."

"Okay." Pulling the blanket over us, I move closer to him and he wraps his arms around me. Giving me peppermint kisses. "I think Spencer is cheating on Kimberly." I say after some time. I feel his body stiffen a bit.

"What happened?"

"When I went to Lombardi's for lunch, I saw him with another woman, she had her hands all over him but that's not what bothered me, what bothered me was that he responded to her touch and let her touch him in the first place. Ugh! I don't know, I didn't even ask him I just ran out of there as fast as I could."

"There is always an explanation to everything."

"I know that but what do I tell Kim?"

"Nothing." I turn to him.

"Nothing? But-"

"You say nothing Aurora, don't intervene." Easy for you to say Mr no emotions. I pout. "And don't give me that face either, look I know she's your friend but her relationship with Spencer needs to stay exactly that, her relationship with Spencer. Not you, her and Spencer."

"Alright." I snap. "I get it, I won't say anything but if I don't say anything and it backfires, you will pay." I warn smirking and he chuckles.

"Fair enough." Right then my stomach grumbles. "You skipped lunch didn't you." And I nod. "Come on, I'll make you something to eat." Heading to the kitchen I sit around the island and watch Cy. Frying some shrimp with seasoning and adding pasta he hands me the food.
