A Month Later...
Aurora's P.O.V
"Are you ready?" I smile down at her reaching out my hand, she takes a breath and nods, then stands up.
"I'm scared."
"You guys are meant for each other, you have nothing to fear. Just don't fumble your vows." Laughing I see her shoulders relax a little. Fixing her vail I take one last look at her, she is so beautiful that she brings tears to my eyes. "Okay guys we're ready to go." Heading out we find her parents waiting for her at the beginning of the alter, taking both her parents' hands she looks back at me. "Time to fly little butterfly." Her eyes get teary.
"I love you kid."
"I love you kid." The music starts to play as she slowly makes her way down the alter to Spencer and I follow, along with Spencer's best man, Micheal. When I see Spencer getting teary that's when I internally smile, oh it's definitely the dress! Standing by her side I watch as Kim takes the biggest step of her life. Their vows of eternal love bring tears to everyone watching.
"I do."
"I do."
"You may now kiss the bride."
"Release em boys." I order into the walkie talkie. Quickly taking her in his arms, Spencer pulls her close and pours his undying love into their first kiss as husband and wife. Just then white feathers fall from the sky and we all watch in awe. Wow! I'm in complete awe of how beautiful they look in this moment.
"Thank you." She smiles at me when I hand her her shoes, she's just changed into her second dress and she's about to have her first dance with Spencer. Right on time they step onto the dance floor, hand in hand.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr and Mrs Peers." I say into the mic and they all clap, their song plays and they hold each other lovingly while swaying to the music. Now all that's left is her last outfit change before she throws the bouquet and leaves for her honeymoon.
"May I have this dance?" Turning around I see a very dashing Cyan, in a black tux, reaching out his hand to me.
"Of course." I take his hand smiling, he wraps his arms around my waist and I lay my head on his chest. We dance onto the next song.
"You did a really good job planning this Aurora." I smile against his chest.
"Thank you."
"Are you sure you're in the right profession?" This makes me chuckle. "I'm serious."
"Don't worry, I'm in the right profession and I love what I do very much. Do you like what you do now?" I look up at him and his eyes glimmer.
"I do." After Cy's Will reading, things were a little chaotic. I had to release a public statement, announcing that I was the new head of the Kensington Empire, shortly after that I was named the youngest female billionaire and somehow the whole world knew my name. It was overwhelming and terrifying to see myself on billboards, magazine covers and on the front page of newspapers. The fact that Cy functioned so normally under such pressure is seriously impressive, I found a new respect for him in total.
Cyan put his masters in business studies to use and boldly took control of the business Cy left him, it's still too early to tell but from what I've heard, he has a good head on his shoulders. I just know he'll sore.
Tilly is in the final process of opening a bakery in France, I was a little sad to learn that she'd be moving but happy at the same time. She needed to spread her wings and I'm glad she's doing it so fearlessly.
Since Mikey chose to stay by me, him and Harry now both work for me, sometimes I feel like the luckiest person in the world.
