Aurora's P.O.V
Groaning I try to open my eyes but I can't, why is it so hard to wake up? And why am I hearing muffled voices? Who is Cyan talking to? Is that Cy? How did he get h-" Wait, what happened? If Cy is here it must mean that something bad happened and why am I the only one asleep when everyone around me is awake?
"Why isn't she waking up?!"
"Cyan do something." Tilly whimpers. Oh, now I remember. I was shot, Mia shot me because I was trying to protect Cy, no, I did protect him. For once I actually protected him from her and now I can sleep.
Cy's P.O.V
She's losing body temperature and her breathing is slowing down.
"Tilly is there a cold place here?" Her eyes widen.
"Yes there is! The storage room, where we keep all the food. If we put her there-"
"Her loss of body heat will slow down."
"Exactly! Follow me." Lifting her head, I carefully pick her up.
"Hang on for me kitten, don't die on me yet." Getting to the storage room we lower the temperature as much as we can, laying Aurora down I hold her in my arms while Tilly takes a look at her bullet wound. "The bullet's still in there." She looks at me and nods.
"You have to take it out." She turns to Cyan.
"Cyan I can't-"
"You can and you will." I hate to admit it but he's right. If we don't get that bullet out she'll die. Tilly sighs nodding.
"I'll go get my things."
"And I'll go find Mikey and Andy, the quicker we can get out of here the quicker she can get professional help." I nod and they both leave. I release a sigh.
"I came here to get you out of danger." Looking at her I furrow my eyebrows. "You know, you are the only woman I've ever loved Aurora, from the moment I laid my eyes on you I knew you were mine and I was going to do everything I could to make you mine. But, it seems as though something is just always in the way or trying to take you away from me. Sometimes I wonder if you'll be safer when I let you go, maybe you being with me is the reason you're always in danger and being away from me will keep you safe, happy. I love you Aurora, more than anything in this god forsaken world, but I will not lose you."
"I've got them." Just then Tilly rushes in and starts tearing off Aurora's shirt, feeling around her wound she makes a small incision and blood gushed out. I can tell she's nervous because her hands are shaking, using the pituitary rongeur she slowly opens up the cut.
"Tilly, take a deep breath, you're not going to hurt her." Nodding she takes a deep breath then tries again, finding the bullet she slowly takes it out. Once the bullet is removed she stitches Aurora up, wraps her wound then covers her stomach with a blanket. "You did good."
"Thank you." She offers me a sad smile.
"GET OUT!" That's Cyan. Running to us he yells again. "GET OUT! ITS GOING TO BLOW!" Shit, quickly getting up I pick Aurora up and we all start running towards the exit. If those walls go down we'll be trapped under tones of water, we'll die here.
"Cyan, take Aurora."
"What?!"
"Take her. This place is underground which means if that explosion goes off the pipes are going to burst-"
"We'll drown." Taking her he looks at me. "Where are you going?" I look at Mikey. He hands me the freeze ray.
"To stall."
"Boss no, I'll go."
"You stay with everyone, Mia is still alive and I need you to protect Aurora."
"This is crazy!" Turning around I start running in the opposite direction. Like I said, I will not lose her. Just then the explosion goes off and water starts flooding, freezing the water a wall starts to build, successfully sealing it I slowly start backing away. It won't hold for long but it'll buy me enough time. Quickly making my way back I hear a gun go off and fall to the ground, Mia.
"Mia." I say through gritted teeth as she makes her way to me.
"Cyler." She says pointing a gun at me.
"Mia this place is-"
"I know but I don't care, I don't care if I live or die anymore because what's the point of living if it's not with you."
"Mia."
"I love you Cy, I always have and I always will but, you won't love me back. Why?" Tears well in her eyes.
"Because I love Aurora Mia, you know this. I told you that I was in love with someone else from the beginning! I never misled you."
"I love you Cy, pick me." She pleads. I clench my teeth.
"It will always be Aurora Mia." Rage fills her eyes and her face changes. "Mia-"
"If I can't have you, no one can." She spits out. "I hope you said your goodbyes because it may not be me you love but I'm definitely the one you'll die with." She cocks her gun. Picking up the freeze ray I shoot, her eyes widen as her body starts freezing over and I stop right below her neck then get up, making my way to her.
"I didn't want it to come to this but, when it comes to her, I'll kill even you Mia." Shooting her again her body starts turning blue and eventually her eyes turn grey with frostbite. Sighing I start making my way back. It only takes a second for me to hear the ice wall break and for the water to burst, coming my way, I start making a run for the exit but it's too late. "I'm sorry Angel." I whisper before the water finally destroys everything in its path, including me.
