Aurora's P.O.V

Days Later

"Aurora, this came for you."

"Oh, thank you." I say to Cy's mom taking the envelope then turning my attention back to a waiting Jezel. "The chairs, right. I like the white ones." I say looking at her layout of Cy's funeral.

"I do too, peaceful and simple." I nod, agreeing. "Have you had the chance to write your speech?" I haven't finished it, I've been so busy with so many things that my mind is all over the place.

"You need to slow down Angel." I bite down on my teeth irritably.

"And you need to keep quiet." I snap at Cy. Jezel gives me a questionable look and I chuckle nervously. "I'm sorry, not you. I'm just a little tired."

"I think that you're doing too much, with running two companies, planning a funeral and whatever else you're doing. It's bound to be a lot. Aurora, his funeral is tomorrow, don't you think that should take top priority? It's only going to happen onc-"

"You don't think I know that?" I say lowly through gritted teeth. "I don't trust anyone in this house to touch his things, so of course I'm going to want to keep it all to myself! You think I don't know that I only get one chance to do this right? I mean he only fucken dies once RIGHT?!" Regret washes over her.

"Aurora I didn't mean-"

"Get out." I glare at her. "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Seeing her collect her things I turn away and wait for her to leave.

"I'm sorry." She says finally before leaving, once she's gone I go through everything for tomorrow and make sure that everything is ready or taken care of. I want it to be perfect, that's why I've been working so hard, I want what I assume would have been his vision for the funeral to come to life in the most beautiful way.

"Cy." I sigh. "I only hope that I do your send off justice." I don't want to fail you.

"I'll love it because you planned it." He says from behind me. "Aurora." When he says my name the air leaving his lips tickles the back of my neck. "Are you happy? With the preparations that is, are they to your liking? Do they make you happy?" Feeling tears coat my eyes I quickly turn to him.

"Of course they d-" His lips smash onto mine, shutting me up and as we kiss my tears fall. Of course I'm happy with the preparations! But no matter how happy I am about them they won't bring you back, nothing will, and maybe because I know that I'm using whatever I can to console myself.

"Aurora." He whispers my name. "You're suffering and I hate to see it. I wish I could take your pain away."

"Cy."

"And maybe I will." My eyebrows furrow.

"What do you mean by that?" No, I don't like it. I don't like that look in his eyes.

"After tomorrow we won't be able to see each other again, I can't stay here once you bury me."

"W-." My voice, it's shaking. "Why not? I mean you're already dead right?" I chuckle bitterly. "So why can't you stay with me? Why only after the funeral?"

"Angel." I grit my teeth.

"Don't say my name like that!" I yell at him, glaring. "Why can't you stay?! Why must I lose you again?

"Aurora."

"No!" I scream. "I don't want this Cyler."

"Aurora." He looks frustrated but I don't care, I'm frustrated as well! So frustrated.
