Chapter Eighty Four

Aurora's P.O.V

"10! Wake up." Groaning I turn on my side as my eyes adjust to the light.

"Andy?" I look at him confused. What is he holding?

"You've been out cold all day and you need to eat." I jerk back a little in defence when he comes close, eyeing him and he sighs. "Okay, fair enough but you haven't eaten all day and Tilly told me to make sure you take your meds. Now, you can't do that on an empty stomach so-" He hands me the tray and it's full of food.

"One act of ... whatever this is is not going to convince me that you're not an ass anymore."

"I can accept that, now eat." I look at him and sigh, nodding I start eating. When I'm done he takes my tray and hands me a glass of water, with my meds.

"Thanks." I say under my breath. I don't know what's going on but I can't trust him. After he sees that I've taken them he takes my tray and leaves. Getting up I decide to take a shower. My body's still aching so I need to take it easy for a while, drying my hair I grab another towel and wrap it around my body. "Oh!"

"I'm so sorry." Clinging to my towel I quickly turn around and face the opposite direction.

"Cyan what are you doing here?" And more importantly, did you see me half naked?

"I came to see if you were okay but I can see you're still a little busy, I'll come back later."

"Wait-" Taking a breath I scratch my head. "You can wait outside, I won't take long." I hear his faint chuckle.

"Okay." Hearing the door close I get dressed, putting on black yoga pants and a black oversized hoodie, my hair's still a little damp so I put it up in a messy bun.

"Cyan." Turning around he comes in and I sit on my bed while he sits on Andy's bed which is next to mine.

"How are you feeling?" I shrug.

"I'm okay, my body still hurts but the pills Tilly gave me help so, it's not that bad." His stare lingers a little longer and the awkward silence fills the air. "You don't need to-"

"There's something I need-" Both speaking at the same time we keep quiet and I chuckle softly. "You were saying?"

"I was saying that you really don't need to do this you know."

"Do what?"

"Constantly check up on me. I mean you already did when Andy and the guys took me to Tilly so you really don't need to do it again, I'm fine."

"You're not fine." I pucker my lips. "I spoke to Tilly and she told me the exact condition your body is in, so no, you are not fine." Damn you Tilly.

"Hey! That's doctor patient confidentiality, you can't do that." Furrowing his eyebrows he gets up. My eyes don't leave his as he steps closer to me, one foot at a time. He looks sort of ... angry?

"Yes I can, because just like this place, I own Tilly and she will do exactly as I say." He owns her?

"Well you may think you own-"

"I do." He interrupts. He's right in front of me.

"Well you don't own me so anything that includes me has nothing to do with you."

"I will." What did he just say? Quickly getting up I get in his face.

"You will never own me, no one owns me." He looks in between my eyes and smirks.

"You see that fire in your eyes? I'll wrap it around me so tight that you'll think it actually comes from me."

"Cyan." I say through gritted teeth and his face turns stern, his eyes are so dark.

"Aurora." My heart stops, he knows my name, my real name and the way it sounds coming from him sounds like- "Get in bed and do not leave this room."

"I do NOT take orders from you outside of the training grounds."

"I am not going to repeat myself." His tone's changed. I want to talk back but I can't, why can't I say anything? I'm not afraid of Cyan so why am I acting like this? Opening my bed covers he pushes me into bed and basically tucks me in then smirks. "Good girl, I'll come back to check on you later." I watch him leave and release a breath I didn't know I was holding.

Cyan's P.O.V

Dammit! I shouldn't have said that to her. Walking out of her room I head to mine and change. I need to blow off some steam. Heading to the gym I let out all of my pent up frustration out on the punching bag. I'm supposed to take it easy with her, walk before I can run, but I basically just flew in there.

"Lucifer." It's that face! It's that face that makes me unable to abstain myself.

"Lucifer!" Snapping out of it I see John. When did he get here? "Where's your head if you can't even notice your surroundings?" Catching my breath I gulp down some water.

"Sorry, I guess I was too into it." He eyes me up and down.

"Something bothering you?" I shake my head.

"No."

"Are you sure? Because I need your head clear so you can do your job, not full of some insignificant girl who-" Fire.

"Better remember your place with me John." I say glaring at him, I don't even realise how tightly I'm crushing the bottle in my hand till I feel the water spill out. His eyes dart to it. "Leave." I say through gritted teeth and he nods, quickly leaving. As soon and he's gone I smash the water bottle into the mirror, breaking it. Fuck! Taking in a deep breath I try to calm myself. This is starting to become a problem.

Cy's P.O.V

I've been studying the military base Aurora is in from the moment I got my hands on the blueprints of the place. Her father told me that he made sure they didn't know she was his daughter, that she's protected but from what I've dug up on the captain in charge, I don't trust him.

"I don't care how you do it but get me that base, now!"

"Yes Mr Kensington." Hanging up I sigh, I'm surrounded by idiots. Getting into that base isn't impossible but, getting in and then getting out with Aurora won't be easy. I can't risk her life like that so I found another way to get in, money. If I own the base then I can have access to Aurora, the whole place and I can get her out of there safely.

"Boss." Mikey storms in with a worried look on his face. "We have a problem."

"Talk." Putting down a file in front of me I reach for it.

"He's in there with her." Looking at his picture I groan.

"Fuck!"
