Cy's P.O.V

"Mr Kensington! The phone has been ringing off the hook, I don't-" Layla explains as soon as I step out of the elevator, sounding frantic.

"I just went to a meeting, did more reporters call for a scoop again?" I knew they'd hound me but I didn't think it would be so fucken suffocating.

"Yes sir, along with four mega magazines to ask if they could have you on the cover. The producer of E!News called as well and sir- Mr Harvey is on line one."

"Layla, no more calls and see if you can get Mikey to get his ass here in the next hour. Steve..." I pick up the phone.

"Yes sir."

"Boss." Mikey says coming in.

"Let me finish this call." And he nods. "See if you can get the stock market to increase again, I have expectations for how I want this space to sell and if they're not met, then you and your whole team are going to have a very big problem." Hanging up I sigh.

"Not easy coming back huh boss." He smiles.

"No, it's not. I called you in here because I heard from Mr Jefferson that the FBI might be looking into investigating my case. If they do they'll cause me, Aurora, Cyan and everyone else a headache."

"What do you need me to do?"

"Can you hack their server?"

"It won't be easy but, I think I can pull it off. The problem will be time, it won't be a quick job."

"You have 36 hours." He nods. "I don't want you whipping out anything, that might be too obvious but I do need you to plant something." After my meeting with Mikey I head out to my next appointment.

"Sir, Goldmine Corporate just called to confirm that the contract renewal is a green."

"Good, draw it up and send it over."

"Yes sir." Getting in my office, I burry myself in work once again. I'm pulled out of my haze when I hear a light knock.

Knock knock

"Lony." She comes in.

"Sorry, your PA let me in." I chuckle.

"Layla, yeah if she lets you in then you must already be a regular here. Sit, what brings you here?"

"Nothing really, I saw the news so I figured you might be too swamped with work to take care of yourself. I brought you some food and these stress relief heat pads."

"Heat pads?" My eyebrow arch's.

"Uhm-" She runs a hand through her hair. "The lady at the pharmacy said they're really good so- I mean you don't have to use them but, j-just in case." She's nervous.

"I'm just pulling your leg, thanks Lony." She smiles. Just then my phone rings. "Aurora?" I answer after excusing myself.

"Cy, seeing what's on the news is stressing me out. Are you okay? You're now overworking yourself are you?" I smile softly.

"Angel, I'm fine. It's a bit hectic right now but it'll blow over soon."

"I'm coming home, at least when I'm there I can help."

"Aurora."

"This damn vacation isn't more important than you! I want to help, let me help Cyan-"

"Cyan?" I hear her sighing on the other end, so do I.

"It was a slip of the tongue, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to call you-"

"Cy." I turn to Lony. "I should get out of your hair, you seem busy."
