Oh, and lunchtime was just too horrible.
Wei Wuxian knew too well that his brother would want to have his revenge; and as now his pregnancy was quite advanced, and he dared not do any serious physical activities, Jiang Cheng had decided on physiological harassment. Very much aware that Wei Ying missed his husband too badly, he quite purposefully did not let Zewu-Jun even breathe.
Wei Wuxian was watching a very flushed and embarrassed Lan Xichen being kissed, and licked, and played with, and teased. Jiang Wanyin was acting like a small child, climbing in his lap, kissing his neck and opening his clothes to kiss his chest, making him blush severely and apologize to his brother-in-law all the time. Sandu Shengshou was purring and murmuring love confessions all too loudly, totally ignoring the fact that they were not alone in the room.
And so Wei Wuxian was sweating and biting his lips, frowning and observing them play with each other's bodies freely, kissing and caressing, and wondering if Lan Wangji was missing him as severely as him, right in that moment. He could not object, as he was the first one to intrude on their bedroom's privacy. Respectively, Zewu-Jun dared not get his lover angry - Jiang Cheng was tense and on edge anyway, all in anticipation of the – quite unpleasant – upcoming trip to Lotus Pier.

- I never thought I'd see you like that, Brother! – Wei Wuxian mocked, but tried not to stare, too flushed and hot.
- My house – my rules, Brother!!! - Jiang Cheng growled, sitting in Zewu-Jun's lap and letting his fingers play with his headband now.
- I already apologized! Many times! Why are you still torturing me??? – he moaned.
- I don't know what you are talking about! - Jiang Wanyin leaned forward, menacingly baring his teeth.
Lan Huan bit his lip too; he had the faint suspicion that he was being used as a pawn in an invisible war between the two brothers, but dared not speak.
- Are we going to travel tomorrow? – Wei Wuxian swallowed hard, watching Zewu-Jun's lips kiss his younger brother's neck gently.
- I will take care of everything. - Sandu Shengshou mumbled. – Perhaps the day after tomorrow. It sounds more plausible. It's just a day's ride to Yunmeng, but we will be traveling with a carriage...So it will take longer, depending on the weather. Uh. – he grunted unhappily. His condition was going to slow them down too, for sure.
Zewu-Jun was watching him closely, quite amazed at how matter-of-factly he sounded now, discussing purely business, serious. Was this his purring kitten?
He smiled, his husband was quite amazing.
- I am going to send letters today; we need to inform the Council of Elders that we will be arriving. And I believe that my medical check-up is tomorrow? A-Huan? – he turned to look at his husband thoughtfully.
- Yes, my love. The snow is too deep, and there are no roads that can be traveled. I am sending a servant to fetch him today. Probably along with two horses.
Jiang Cheng nodded.
- Let it be in the morning. After that we set out. Tell the housekeeper to get the carriage ready – I cannot stand to talk to this horrible woman right now! - Sandu Shengshou had not forgotten the remark from yesterday; he was very much aware that it was absolutely true, but he was still sulking nevertheless.
- Hmmm. – Wei Wuxian was impressed, his brother seemed to have thought things through. – Are we going to sleep in town? I believe there will necessarily be at least one sleep-over.
- Indeed. I want to visit my home. I need to see the damage with my own eyes. And the Temple. I will have to... - his voice trailed and his body shuddered slightly.
Zewu-Jun hugged him tighter. He knew well that his husband was trying to busy his mind with all the logistics as not the think about the inevitable. The death, the loss.
Wei Wuxian was once again amazed at the tenderness with which those two communicated. Every movement, every touch was full of care and attention; they craved for each other, it was very obvious, and they craved to touch all the time. He sighed. He missed his Hanguang-Jun too much.
- This time I am traveling in the carriage with you, A-Cheng! – he mumbled. – It is pointless to ride outside; the riders adjust their speed to the carriage anyway.
Jiang Wanyin frowned, not too happy about this.
- Does this mean that I should be feeling... guilty? – he raised an eyebrow.
Lan Huan smiled and looked at Wei Wuxian with curiosity now. He grinned and lifted his hands in the air, defending himself from Jiang Cheng's glare that could melt holes in the walls now.
- Ehh, no! What are you saying, A-Cheng! You are not guilty of expecting a child! And the child is not guilty as well! – he tried to calm Sandu Shengshou's nerves. – I just thought we all could travel together! You, me and Zewu-Jun! You know? – he flashed his broadest smile at him.
- No. I don't know. - Sandu Shengshou mumbled, discontent.
- Wanyin... It will be fine, my little one. I am sure we will be safe.
Jiang Wanyin reached up and caressed his face.
- Zewu-Jun... It's all because of me... I'm sorry... – he murmured, suddenly dejected.
- No... no... My love, no. It's not your fault... Not at all, A-Cheng... - Lan Huan was whispering in his face gently.
Jiang Cheng sighed and hid his face in his husband's neck. He was tired of it all. He just craved for peace and quiet. Wei Wuxian could just gape helplessly at the mesmerizing change of tone.
- Are you... - he started quietly. – Are you worried how the Council will react about that baby bump? – he pointed at Jiang Wanyin's belly.
- Worried? – he huffed. – Not worried. But it won't be nice, I'm sure. – he frowned.
- I will be there the whole time, my darling. Don't doubt it... - Zewu-Jun was leaning in and murmuring lovingly in his ear, caressing his belly dreamily.
- No... Never... Zewu-Jun... - Jiang Cheng purred, too happy to be petted again.
Wei Wuxian rolled his eyes.
- I will leave you to it, then. If you need my help – I will be sparring with the Juniors. – he grinned. – And next time lock that damned door! – he yelled naughtily, exiting through the door a little too quickly - Jiang Wanyin had thrown one of his boots at him.
