Velvet is laying on her bed, giggling as she taps away at her scroll. Coco rolls over in her bed to face Velvet.
Coco: You've been texting Caleb all night long. I think it's about time to say goodnight and go to sleep.
Velvet: Just a few more minutes.
Coco: That's what you said the last few times.
Velvet lets out a sigh.
Velvet: I'm sorry... At the dance, Caleb and I... well, you know... and I just still can't get over the excitement.
Coco: Hey, I get it. That was a big moment for you, Vel. And I'm really happy for you. But it's really late.
Velvet: I know... I just don't think I'm ready for the night to end yet.
Coco: I absolutely understand that. But are you ready for the consequences of not getting a good nights sleep? I'm sure he's feeling really tired right about now, too.
Velvet glances between the scroll and Coco.
Velvet: You're right... I can't exactly enjoy time with him if I'm fighting to not pass out.
Coco: Exactly. There are plenty of more memories for you to make with him. You just actually have to let the night pass first.
Velvet sends one more message and puts the scroll down on the end table, staring at it.
Coco: Don't worry. He isn't going anywhere. You'll be free to fawn over him all day tomorrow.
With sunlight shining on a new day, Caleb is walking to the cafeteria, when team CRDL approach him.
Caleb: What do you guys want now? Didn't I already put you in your place?
Cardin lets out a laugh.
Cardin: Don't think it's anywhere near being done. Watch your back.
Cardin shoulder bumps Caleb as he walks by, being followed by the rest his team.
Caleb watches them walk off as Velvet and Coco come walking up, catching his attention.
Coco: Everything okay?
Caleb: Just another threat.
He looks at Velvet with a soft smile.
Caleb: Guess that means I just have to keep you close.
Velvet: Gladly.
He takes her hand and they go walking into the cafeteria with Coco.
Sitting at the table, Velvet has her arm hooked around Caleb as they feed each other.
Coco is staring with a smile on her face as Yatsu and Fox are eating.
Caleb notices her.
Caleb: What?
Coco: Oh, nothing. Just recognizing how positively adorable you two are. Makes me happy for the both of you.
Yatsu: Fox and I as well. You're good for each other.
Coco: Oh, absolutely. The only thing that isn't perfect is how late you stayed up texting each other.
Caleb: Yeah... We got a bit carried away with that, didn't we?
He glances over at Velvet.
Velvet: Maybe a little... But I don't regret it.
Caleb: Neither do I. I really enjoyed the late night conversation.
Velvet smiles as Coco lets out a sigh.
