After shift, Kelly, Stella, Sylvie and Matt drove to the travel agency and then home. "We're home." Stella called as they walked in the door. "Mommy, Daddy. Did you miss us?" Matty asked, running excitedly out of the kitchen. Cindy stood in the kitchen door and smiled. «Yes, of course we missed you. Did you have a nice day?" Sylvie asked her youngest. "Yeah, Ben and I went to Alex's house and had a water polo fight." Matty said. "Did you. That sounds like a lot of fun." Matt said. "Come on, let's go back to the kitchen. I'm sure you're still having breakfast." Sylvie said and went into the kitchen with Stella and Matty. "How's Caleb?" Kelly asked. "He hasn't left his room since he got home yesterday, except for dinner." Cindy said. "I guess the whole thing upset him more than he let on." Matt said. "Yes, I'll talk to him. Thanks for taking care of the little ones." Kelly said and went upstairs. "Anytime." Cindy smiled and went into the kitchen with Matt. Kelly knocked on Caleb's door and entered. Caleb was sitting on the couch playing a video game. "Hey buddy, how are you?" Kelly asked, sitting next to him on the couch. "Not good, I haven't slept all night." Caleb said. "At least you're being honest." Kelly said. Caleb turned off the TV and let himself fall onto his bed. "Hey, I'm here if you want to talk." Kelly said. "The man didn't seem like a pedophile to me." Caleb said, sitting up again. "What do you mean?" Kelly asked. "I rather think that I remind him of someone. Maybe I'll remind him of his son or so." Caleb said. "Even if. That doesn't give him the right to do that to you." Kelly said. Caleb shrugged. "Well, I'm just glad nothing bad happened to you." Kelly smiled, putting his arm around Caleb's shoulders. "Oh yeah, I want to talk to you all today." Caleb said. "Oh, that sounds serious, but before you talk to us, we'd like to announce something." Kelly said. "Are we going on vacation?" Caleb asked. "Come on and find out downstairs." Kelly said, walking downstairs with Caleb. Caleb sat down in his chair and let his legs dangle over the armrest. 'Well, kids. As you have noticed, we came home a little later today and there is a reason for that. We went to the travel agency after shift and booked a family vacation." Stella explained. The little ones got very excited. "Where are we going?" Kayla asked. "We're going to Thailand." Sylvie said. "Is that far away?" Benjamin asked. Caleb got the globe that was on one of the shelves and put it on the coffee table. "Do you guys have a travel route plan?" Caleb asked while searching the globe for Chicago. Matt took the travel case out of his pocket and gave it to Caleb. "Wasn't there a direct flight from O'Hare Airport to Bangkok?" Caleb asked as he studied the paperwork. "No idea. The lady at the travel agency said with so many kids it would be better if we stopped over." Stella said. "Okay, let's see then. So, here we have Chicago, and over here is Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, and here we have Zurich, where we're going to stop." Caleb explained. "Are we flying now?" Matty asked. 'No, darling, we won't fly until school is over. It will take a few more weeks." Sylvie comforted her son. Caleb put the travel documents back in the folder and put the globe back on the shelf. 'Good, it's your turn now. You also wanted to discuss something with us. », Kelly said and sat down on the couch. 'Yes, it's about Spiky and Filou. Well, maybe yesterday it was good that I went out with them, but I just don't feel like going out with them anymore. I will be home for at least 3 more years. After that I'll go to college and then I won't have time to take care of them anymore." Caleb explained. "I think he's right. You two really wanted a dog, so I suggest we make a plan of who is going out with the dogs and when." Sylvie said. "And remember, we told you what it means to have a pet back then." Matt said. "Yes." the twins said. "Besides, I have enough to do with my aquarium. That reminds me, I need fish food again." Caleb said. "Write it down on the shopping list, we have to go shopping anyway." Stella said. "Let's get back to the real problem. I suggest that each of you spend a week feeding Spiky and Filou, bathing and whatever else that entails. We can all go for a walk together." Matt said and everyone agreed. Then the doorbell rang. "I'm going." Caleb said, walking to the front door. When he opened the door, he froze. "Dad, we have a problem." Caleb called.
