"Hey, we just wanted to call you." Connor said. "We just wanted to check how the boys are doing." Matt said. "They are quite well. They've got mild smoke inhalation, but nothing to worry about." Will said. "Good, glad to hear that." Kelly said. "Listen, we'd like to talk to you. Do you have a minute?" Natalie asked. "Yes of course. What's it about?" Matt asked. At that moment, a woman came to the emergency room. "Hello. My name is Elvira Ryder. I'm from Child Services. I've been informed that the Mitchell boys are staying here." the woman said, showing her employee ID. "May I ask who informed you about this. Because it sure as hell wasn't any of us." Mrs. Goodwin said. "I'm sorry I can't tell you that." Mrs. Ryder said. "May I at least ask where you are taking them?" Mrs. Goodwin asked. "We organized foster families for the two little ones. The two older ones will go into the care of Child Services." Mrs. Ryder explained. "So, you're going to put the little ones in different foster families and put the big ones in a children's home?" Will asked. "Yes. No family will take in 4 boys. Especially not with a history like that." Mrs. Ryder said. "The one with her mother. Andrew already told us." Connor said. "Well then, surely you also know that no family will take in two children of that age who have been exposed to alcohol and violence at home." Mrs. Ryder said. "And the little ones can?" Natalie asked. "Then why can't at least the little ones go into the same foster family?" Will asked. Mrs. Ryder just shrugged her shoulders. "What if we knew a family that would take all 4 boys in?" Kelly asked. Mrs. Ryder looked at him, but Natalie, Connor, Will and Mrs. Goodwin knew exactly which family they meant. "It only takes one phone call and that's all it takes to find a family that will take all 4 boys." Matt said. "All right. The boys can stay with this family for 2 days, if we haven't found a suitable family by then it will be as I explained to you." Mrs. Ryder said, handing Kelly her business card and left the emergency room. Kelly made a call and Matt went into the room with the 4 boys. "Hey you 4, how are you?" Matt asked. "Good. You're the fireman who saved us, aren't you?" Julian asked. "Yes, exactly. We'd like to talk to you guys." Matt said. "Okay, and about what?" Andrew asked. Now Kelly came into the room and nodded to Matt. "First we want to know your names." Matt said. «So, I'm Andrew, this is Julian, his name is Levi and the little one is called Hayden." Andrew introduced himself and his brothers. "Nice to meet you guys. So, the following. You'll come with us today and stay with us for now." Matt explained. "We won't be separated?" Julian asked shyly. "Not yet. You guys stay together for now. But we can't promise you that you can stay together." Kelly said. "Then we'll enjoy whatever time we have left." Andrew said. "That's a good attitude. Come on then. We're going to the station first and someone will pick you up there." Matt said and took Hayden in his arms. Kelly signed the discharge papers. "As I said, you'll be staying with us for now, but we might have to warn you beforehand. We're not alone." Matt said as he buckled Hayden up. "Okay." Andrew said cautiously. "There are 10 of us right now. My wife Stella and our 3 children, Caleb, Benjamin and Lydia, and Matt's wife Sylvie and their 3 children Layla, Kayla and Matty." Kelly explained. "That's great. Then Hayden and Levi have someone to play with." Julian said. "And you have someone to play video games with. My son Caleb is 14 and who knows, you might have interests in common." Kelly smiled. "Thank you for letting us stay with you. I know you don't have to do that." Andrew said. "You don't have to thank us. We know what you guys are going through and after what happened today you should be somewhere that understands your situation." Kelly said.

At home, Caleb just got back from school. "Hey Lydia. Did you miss me?" Caleb asked, picking up his little sister. "Hey Caleb, you don't even have to undress. Your dad called and asked if you could come over to the station." Stella said. "Okay, sure. Did something happen?" Caleb asked. Stella took Lydia from him. "No, don't worry. He'll explain it to you when you get there." Stella said. "Okay, I'll go now. See you later." Caleb said. "Yes, see you later." Stella said and Lydia waved after him. Caleb got his scooter out of the garage and drove to the station.

The boys from Squad were sitting at their table, when Caleb arrived. "Hey guys." Caleb greeted. "Hey Caleb, your dad's in his office." Cruz said. "Thanks." Caleb said, walking toward Kelly's office. On the way he quickly knocked on Matt's office door and then went to his dad. "Hey Dad." Caleb greeted and stopped in the doorway. "Hey my boy. How was your day?" Kelly asked. "Like any other day." Caleb said. "Hey Caleb." Matt greeted. "Hey. So, what's up?" Caleb asked. "Come in and sit down for a moment. We need to talk to you about something." Kelly said. "You guys scare me." Caleb said. "It's nothing bad. For real. It's just we had a call to a family home this afternoon. We saved 4 boys from the flames." Kelly said. "And now you're telling me to be careful and take care of myself. We have this conversation every time you're on a ministry with kids." Caleb said. "Yes. No. Listen. The 4 boys have no one to stay with. So, we've decided that they can stay with us temporarily." Matt said. "And now you want me to take them home, right?" Caleb asked. "Yeah too, but there's something else." Kelly said. "And what?" Caleb asked. "The two little ones can sleep in Matty and Ben's room, but we'd have to put the two older ones up with you. We know how you feel about this, but it would only be temporary." Kelly explained. "According to me. As long as it's not permanent." Caleb said. "It's not permanent, I promise." Kelly said. "Alright then, come. Let's introduce you to the 4 boys." Matt said and they walked with him to Kylie. "Hey Kylie." Caleb greeted, waving at Chief Boden. "Hey Caleb." Kylie greeted, who was playing a game with Hayden. "Okay guys. This is Caleb. He's going to take you home now, okay?' Matt asked. "Aren't you coming with me?" Levi asked. "No buddy. We still have work to do. We'll be home for breakfast tomorrow." Kelly said. "Come on then." Caleb said. The boys cleaned up together. "Hey Caleb. Do me a favor and pull yourself together." Kelly whispered to him. Caleb nodded and went to the others. "Maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all." Matt said. Kelly shrugged his shoulders and they both went back to their offices to finish writing the reports.

On the way home the 3 older boys talked. "Listen. We didn't want that to be weird for you. Your dad and Matt told us we could stay." Andrew said. "Don't worry about me. It's not because of you that I'm so upset. I just had some trouble at school." Caleb said. "Oh ok. Change of subject then?' Andrew asked. "Yes, please." Caleb said. "Okay, what do we want to talk about?" Andrew asked. "First I have to ask again. What's your name?" Caleb asked. "Well, I'm Andrew, this is Julian and the two little ones are called Levi and Hayden." Andrew said. "Well, I think I can remember that." Caleb laughed. "Your dad said you have siblings and that Matt's family lives with you, too." Julian said. "Yes, but the story is a bit more complicated. I'll tell you when we get home. Do you guys like playing video games?" Caleb asked. Andrew and Julian nodded.

"Stella, Aunt Sylvie, we're home." Caleb called. "Hey boys. Welcome to our home." Stella greeted. "Thanks for letting us stay here." Andrew said. "Where are the others?" Caleb asked. "Outside." Stella said. The boys went outside and Caleb introduced everyone. Afterwards Levi and Hayden played outside with the others and Caleb went to his room with Andrew and Julian.
