"What's up?" Stella asked. "I'm just asking straight out now. "Do you want the 4 to stay with us permanently?" Caleb asked. "What do you think of that?" Stella asked. "Honestly. The 4 have been through a lot. They should experience what it means to grow up in a loving family home." Caleb smiled. "And is that really okay with you? I mean, in addition to the 4 boys, the babies are still on the way as well." Stella said. "Do not worry about me. I'll be fine, plus there would finally be two boys in this household that I could duel properly at video games." Caleb smiled. "We're back." Sylvie called. "If you tell Andrew and Julian they can make their own pizza." Stella said. "You can come out." Caleb said and at the same moment the room door opened. "We weren't listening." Julian said. "Maybe a little." Andrew replied. Stella shook her head, smiling, and went downstairs with Lydia. The 3 boys followed her. "How did you know that?" Andrew asked. "I live here with 5 kids and a baby. Somebody's always listening." Caleb said. The kitchen was already buzzing when Caleb, Andrew, and Julian walked in. "Grab some dough and sit down at the table." Sylvie said when the doorbell rang. "I go." Caleb said, opening the door. "Hi. Let me guess, Caleb?" the man asked. "In full size. Hey Marcus." Caleb laughed and let him in. "It's a bit chaotic with us at the moment, but you know that. Stella, Aunt Sylvie, Marcus is here." Caleb called. "So, tell me. How are you?" Marcus asked. "Quite well. I'm in high school now." Caleb said. «Hey. Sorry for the chaos but with 14 kids under one roof it can get pretty hectic." Stella apologized. "No problem. Kelly has already told me that you already have a bigger house in mind." Marcus said. "Yeah, right, but let's sit in the living room... Caleb, can you go back into the kitchen and help the little ones make the pizza?" Stella asked. "Yeah, and let me guess, 1 veggie per pizza." Caleb said, picking Lydia up. "Exactly." Stella said and went into the living room with Sylvie and Marcus. "What do you think. Will everyone put at least 1 veg on the pizza?" Caleb asked his little sister. They went back into the kitchen and sat down at the kitchen table. "Well, each of you has to put at least one vegetable on the pizza." Caleb said. "Are peppers a vegetable?" Kayla asked. "It is. Do you want me to help with the cutting?" Caleb asked. "Yes, please." Kayla said. "I don't want any vegetables." Benjamin protested. "That's the rule and you know it. When we make pizza. Everyone has to choose at least 1 vegetable." Caleb said while slicing half a pepper. Benjamin continued to protest. Caleb was getting a little annoyed. "Benny, that's enough." Caleb said. He got a can of sweet corn kernels from the pantry, opened it, emptied the contents into a small bowl and placed it in front of Benny. "It's not a vegetable." Benjamin sobbed. "It is. Trust me." Caleb said, handing the chunks of pepper to Kayla. "Everything ok with you?" Sylvie asked, who now came into the kitchen. "Yeah, all settled." Caleb said. "Good. Andrew and Julian, would you come with me for a moment." Sylvie said.
Marcus and Stella were waiting for the three of them in the living room. "Sit down for a moment. There's something we want to talk to you about." Stella said. The two boys sat down and played nervously with their fingers. "Following. We just spoke to Matt and Kelly as well and we agree. If you want, you can stay here permanently." Stella said. "We can stay together?" Andrew asked in surprise. "Yes, Marcus would take the case and once things are sorted out with your mother, Matt and I would be happy to adopt you." Sylvie said. "That means I no longer have to be responsible for my brothers 24/7. So please don't get me wrong, I've always loved looking after you guys, but it's a lot of work looking after you guys besides school." Andrew said. "No, you don't have to take care of your brothers 24/7 anymore. Though we'd be happy if you and Caleb babysit the little ones for a few hours every once in a while." Stella said. "Yes, of course." Andrew said. "Okay, that's settled then. I'll get in touch with you as soon as I have new information." Marcus said and said goodbye.
