When Kelly and Matt got home from work the next morning, Stella and Sylvie were in the kitchen preparing breakfast. "Hey you two. How was shift?” Stella asked. "Except for the house fire, pretty quiet." Kelly said, kissing Stella. "How were your days?" Matt asked, kissing his wife. "Good. The 4 boys obviously already feel home here” Sylvie said. "Where are the kids?" Kelly asked. "Lydia and the boys are still asleep and the others are already at school." Stella said. "How did Caleb take it all?" Kelly asked. "I think it's alright for him. He said he finally had decent opponents to play with." Stella said. "We're letting him win on purpose." Kelly said with a wink. "Aha." Sylvie smiled. “By the way, I got a call from our agent. The house is already finished and we can have a look today if we want to." Matt said. "That's great. Then we could pick the kids up from school and then we could all go together.” Stella suggested. "I had that thought too. Also, we could go to the dealership and look for a bigger car." Matt said. "Good morning." Andrew said, coming into the kitchen. “Hey, good morning.” Stella said and at the same time you could hear Lydia's screeching through the baby monitor. "Sit down." Stella said and went upstairs. "And, slept well?" Matt asked. Andrew nodded and yawned. "Caleb was a little bit too tired this morning." Sylvie smiled. "We talked for a long time yesterday." Andrew said. "Good morning." Julian said, coming into the kitchen with Levi and Hayden. "Good morning. Did you guys sleep well?" Matt asked. The three boys nodded and sat down at the table with their brother. When Stella came into the kitchen with Lydia, they all sat down at the table and had breakfast. “We got a call from our agent yesterday. We could visit the new house today. What do you think if we pick up the others in the afternoon and then we all go there together?” Matt asked. "For real? You take us with you?” Andrew asked. "Sure. You're family now." Stella smiled. "But before that, we thought we could go to your house and see if there is anything we can save." Kelly suggested. "Do you already know how it happened?" Julian asked. "Apparently someone was cooking in the kitchen and everything was just left behind." Kelly explained. "I knew it." Andrew said. "What do you mean?" Sylvie asked. "Mom does this every time she cooks. She starts cooking, then gets a call, drops everything and is gone. At first, I was able to prevent it in time, but yesterday...” Andrew explained and his eyes filling with tears. "Hey, come here. It wasn't your fault." Sylvie said and hugged him. After breakfast, Kelly and Matt drove to the boy’s old home. Apart from a few framed family photos, nothing could be saved.
