Chapter 59

"Hey. Look who's back in Chicago." Sylvie said. "Yes. It's so nice to see you again. How are you guys?" Kelly asked. "Quite good so far. Thanks for asking. Yourself?" Lily asked. "What are you guys doing here?" Matt asked. "We wanted you guys to know first." Katie said. "And what?" Caleb asked. "Elise, Lily, Peter and I are now living together and will soon be opening our own family-friendly restaurant in downtown Chicago." Katie announced. "That's great. We're so happy for you." Stella said. "Obviously, I'll wait a little longer. But the opening is scheduled for April 15th." Katie said. "I'm looking forward to it." Caleb said. "Have you been successful? Stella said you went to buy camping gear. Do you want to go camping?" Elise asked. "No, this is for the 3 here. They will be at a youth festival in the summer and they can do camping there. Now we went shopping for everything they need." Matt explained. "Oh." Elise said. "Come on. We wanted to see if the lineup is known yet." Caleb said. "Yes, that's right. Nice to meet you guys." Andrew said. "Likewise." Lily said. As Andrew and Julian wanted to leave the living room, Caleb came back again. "It's good to see you again and welcome back." Caleb said. "Nice to see you again, too." Elise smiled. Caleb, Andrew and Julian then ran up to Caleb's room and closed the door. "It's crazy how big Caleb has gotten." Elise said. "Yeah, how old is he now?" Peter asked. "15. He turned 15 in December." Kelly said. "And how is he?" Lily asked. "He's doing quite well. He's in high school now. Has many friends. He had a couple of bouts of depression in the middle of last year where we were really worried about him, but we managed to handle that pretty well." Kelly said. "And what about soccer?" Peter asked. "He stopped playing because there have been some changes at the club. But as things stand at the moment, he will be living at the Dubai International Soccer Academy from September." Kelly said. "Dubai?" Katie asked in surprise. "Nothing is 100% decided yet. He'll be asking more about it over the next few weeks and we would have let you know when we know more." Kelly said. "So, now to you. Something's going on between you two." Sylvie said. Katie and Peter looked at each other. "Wait, you didn't tell them?" Lily asked. "Tell us what?" Matt asked. "Peter and I have been a couple for 2 years. He's also the child's father." Katie said. "That's great. We're so happy for you." Stella said, hugging Katie. Kelly and Matt stood on either side of Peter. Before Kelly and Matt could say anything, Katie pinched her brother's side. "Ouch, hey. I didn't do anything." Kelly said. "Yeah yeah. I know exactly what you were going to do and I'm warning you brother dear." Katie said. "Besides, it won't do much. Elise and Lily have already taken care of that part." Peter said. "Well then. Welcome to the family." Kelly said, hugging him.

Meanwhile, Andrew, Caleb and Julian sat in front of the laptop inCaleb's room and scrolled through the festival website. "Clickon 'Bands'." Julian said. Calebclicked on the 'Bands' column and also opened Youtube. "Cool,look. Big Time Rush's coming."Andrew said excitedly. "Didn'tthey break up years ago?" Julian asked. "Theydid. But they've been touringagain since last year, I think, and they've also put out new music."Andrew said. "I used to watch theseries up and down. And Ilistened to the music over and over again. Momand Dad almost went insane." Caleb said. "Goto YouTuber." Andrew said. "Whoare you hoping for?" Julian asked. "I'lltell you when I see it." Andrew said. Andrewscrolled through the list of youtubers. "Yes,they're both coming." Andrew said happily. "LoganPaul and Jake Paul. Do wehave to know them?" Caleb asked. Calebentered the names on Youtube and scrolled through the page. "He'sa wrestler?" Julian asked. "Howlong have you been interested in wrestling?" Caleb asked. "There'sstill a lot you don't know about me." Andrew said. "Howlong have you been interested in wrestling? And Ican ask that. I've known you longerthan Caleb and you've never watched a single wrestling match." Juliansaid. "I don't watchwrestling either. Ihaven't watched his videos for a long time either, but I used to watch them alot." Andrew said. "Aha. Alright. I'llsee what singers are announced." Caleb said. "Yes,do it." Julian said. "Cool. JasonDerulo is coming." Andrew said. "OMG. ShawnMendes." Julian said excitedly. "Thenthere's something for everyone." Caleb said. "Yes. I'm reallylooking forward to it." Andrew said. "Metoo." Julian said. Suddenly,a chat box appeared at the bottom left of the screen. Calebopened the chat. "Who'sRiccardo?" Andrew asked. "Thisis the head of the International Soccer Academy," Caleb said. "So,you've made your decision?" Julian asked a little sadly. "Ihaven't made my decision 100% yet. I justasked him if he could give me some information." Caleb explained. "Andwhen will you decide? Canyou go to the festival with us at all?" Julian asked. "Ofcourse, I can still come to the festival with you. If Ireally will move to Dubai, I wouldn't fly until the end of September."Caleb said. "Will you stillhave time to visit us or to call us?" Julian asked. "Noworries. I'll call so many timesyou'll wish I didn't call at all." Caleb joked. "Andwhat about visiting?" Andrew asked. "Iwill certainly come home for the summer and Christmas/New Year. Otherwise,I'm in Dubai or somewhere else at tournaments. Butlook. He wrote that you cancome visit me at any time. There'seven a residential complex on the premises for family members." Calebsaid. "Hey Juli. Calebisn't going to just disappear like Mom." Andrew said, putting his arm aroundJulian's shoulders. "Exactly. I'llbe in touch with you regularly and if you want, we can arrange a fixed timewhen just the two of us skype." Caleb said and also put his arm around Julian'sshoulders. "All right. Butyou promise you'll call." Julian said. «Pinkypromise. Come. Hitit." Caleb said and the three shook hands. Thenthere was a knock on the room door. "Comein." Caleb said. "Well,you three." Kelly said, coming into the room. "Heydad. What's up?" Calebasked. "And are yousatisfied with the lineup of the festival?" Kelly asked. "Yes,very much so." Andrew said. "Goodto hear. Listen, we want to goout for dinner tonight. If youstill want to take a shower or get ready, do it now. Wehave a reservation at the 'Chicago Firehouse' restaurant at 6 p.m.." Kellysaid. "Is good. We'regetting ready." Caleb said. Kellynodded and left the room again. "Okay,let's take a shower and get dressed." Andrew said. "Yeah,me too." Caleb said. Andrewand Julian left Caleb's room. Around5:30 p.m., everyone got into their cars. In therestaurant they were escorted to their reserved table and ordered their drinks. Afterdinner everyone went home.
