When Caleb got home, the kids were playing in the driveway. "Kayab." Benjamin shouted. "Hey. Well? How was the last day of kindergarten?" Caleb asked, picking up his little brother. "Funny." Benjamin said. "That's great." Caleb said, lowering him back down. "How was your last day of school?" Elyas asked. "It was good. But I haven't fully realized it was my last day at this school." Caleb said. "It really wasn't your last. I mean, you're staying at the school. You're just transitioning into homeschooling." Andrew said. "He's right about that." Julian said. "True." Caleb said. "Where's your school bag?" Andrew asked. "I was at the station for a short time after school. I could leave my school stuff in Dad's car." Caleb said. "Everyone come in. Lunch is ready." Aiko called out of the kitchen window. The kids ran in, took off their shoes and went out into the conservatory and sat down at the table. "Hey Caleb. How was your day?" Aiko asked. "All right." Caleb said. "Aiko, what's this?" Kayla asked. "This is paella. A Spanish dish with rice and chicken." Aiko said. "It looks delicious." Andrew said. At lunch the kids talked about their last day of school.

In the afternoon Andrew, Julian and Caleb sat on the balcony of Caleb's room. "So, what exactly do we need to write down now?" Andrew asked. Caleb got a notepad and writing materials and sat down with them. "We're supposed to think about how we're going to design the garden." Caleb said, opening the notepad. "What have you always had?" Julian asked. "What we have now." Caleb said. "How about a trampoline?" Andrew asked. "Yes. I'll write that down. I was also thinking that maybe we could put a little patch back there and grow some veggies." Caleb said. "Why not." Andrew said. "Like what?" Julian asked. "We can decide that." Caleb said. "Ok. What about herbs?" Julian asked. "Yes. That's good." Caleb said, writing it on the pad. "Berries and vegetables, too." Andrew said. Caleb wrote everything down. "How about a pool?" Caleb asked. "Yes." Andrew and Julian said, excitedly. "Do we need 2 or is 1 enough?" Julian asked. "I think 2. A paddling pool for the babies and the pool for us big ones." Caleb said. "Other topic. What do you think about camping in the garden tonight? Then we could try our camping gear." Andrew suggested. "Yes. That's a great idea." Julian said and Caleb nodded in agreement. "Boys?" Aiko asked. "We're out here." Caleb said. "Ah, here you are. Listen, we were going to the park. Are you coming with us or would you rather stay at home?" Aiko asked. "We'll come with you. We're done here anyway." Caleb said. "Ok. We would then drive off right away." Aiko said. "We're coming." Andrew said. Caleb put the notepad and pen on the desk, put on a clean shirt, and then went downstairs. Andrew, Caleb and Julian helped the little ones buckle up and off they went. "Where do you want to go today?" Elyas asked, who was behind the wheel. "How about a visit to the botanical gardens?" Andrew asked. "No. We want to go to the park." Layla and Kayla said. "If you three want to go to the botanical garden, we can drop you off there." Elyas suggested. "Really?" Julian asked. "Yes. Why not. you are old enough Besides we are mainly there for the little ones. So not that we don't care about you, but you know what I mean." Elyas said. "Yeah, we know." Andrew said. "Ok. What do you guys think?" Caleb asked. "I'd like to go to the botanical garden." Julian said. "Me too." Andrew said. "Good. Then the first stop is called the Botanical Garden." Elyas said and drove off. At the entrance to the botanical garden, Elyas let the three oldest out and then drove on. "I haven't been here in ages." Caleb said. "We've never been here." Andrew said. "Really?" Caleb asked. Andrew and Julian shook their heads. "Well then. Let's go." Caleb said.

Meanwhile, the others reached Lincoln Park. "Can we go to the playground?" Kayla asked. "Yes, but wait until everyone has got out." Aiko said. Elyas got the strollers out of the trunk and Aiko unbuckled the babies and Lydia. In the park, Elyas spread out the large picnic blanket and put the babies on it. "Can we go to the playground now?" Kayla asked impatiently. "Yes, you can. But stay in sight." Elyas said. "What does that mean?" Levi asked. "Just stay where we can see you." Elyas said. "Okay." Hayden said, running to the playground with the others. Elyas and Aiko sat on the blanket with the three babies and Lydia and dealt with them. Filou, Mocha and Spiky lay on the meadow in the sun and dozed. "I'm already getting sad when I think about having to fly home in a few months." Aiko said thoughtfully. "I feel the same way." Elyas said. Then Elyas' phone vibrated. "A message from Caleb...His player profile is online...here." Elyas said, showing Aiko the photo Caleb had sent him. "What are you looking at?" Layla asked. The kids have finished playing and are now joining. "Your brother is going to be famous." Aiko said and Elyas showed them the photo. "Is that good?" Kayla asked. "Do not worry. Caleb will get a little more attention though. But he will still be the same." Aiko said. "Can he still play with us then?" Benjamin asked. "Of course." Elyas said and took him in his arms. "Can we go to Caleb's?" Matty asked. Aiko and Elyas looked at each other. "I'll write to him and ask him where they are right now." Elyas said. He wrote Caleb a WhatsApp message and received a reply a few seconds later. "They're still in the botanical gardens but want to go to the Shedd Aquarium later." Elyas said. "Can we too?" Layla asked. "Yes of course. We can pick up the three of them and then drive to the aquarium together." Elyas said. They got in the car and drove to the garden. Andrew, Caleb and Julian were already waiting at the exit of the botanical garden. "Hey boys. Need a ride?" Elyas asked, grinning. "That would be very lovely. We'd like to go to the Shedd Aquarium." Andrew countered. "Hey, what a coincidence. That's where we want to go too." Elyas said and everyone laughed. The boys got in the car and together they drove to the Shedd Aquarium. Aiko and Elyas paid the entrance fee and they went inside. A photo was taken of them at the entrance, which they can pick up at the exit. "Kayab, look. Nemo," Hayden said, tapping the glass. "Hayden. Don't knock on the glass." Julian said. "Sorry." Hayden said, pressing his face against the glass. "There's Dory." Levi said. They stopped for a long time at the shark pool. Aiko and Elyas sat on a bench with the babies. At the end of the visit, they came to the Aquariums Shop. The little ones each got a stuffed animal and Andrew, Julian and Caleb chose a keychain. After the aquarium visit, they went to a nearby ice cream parlor and took a walk along the river.

Back home, Andrew, Julian and Caleb went back into the room and finished their list. The little ones were playing outside in the garden. Aiko took care of the babies and Lydia and Elyas prepared dinner.
