When they got home, the little ones immediately ran into the living room and played. "Shall I get Spiky and Filou from the Herrmann's?" Caleb asked. "If you don't mind." Kelly said. "Of course not." Caleb said, walking into the living room. "Is someone coming and picking up Spiky and Filou with me?" Caleb asked. "Can we come with you?" Layla and Kayla asked. "Sure. Put your shoes on and let's go." Caleb said. Layla and Kayla ran to the entryway and put on their shoes. The girls got their scooters out of the garage and waited for Caleb. Arriving at the Herrmann's, Caleb rang the bell. The two puppies started barking as soon as they heard the bell. "Hey, you're back already." Herrmann said as he opened the door. "Yes, unfortunately much too fast." Caleb said and tried to tame the two excited puppies. "How was it? Were you able to recover well?" Herrmann asked. "Yeah, it was really great." Caleb said. "We collected a lot of shells." the twins said. "Really. You were very busy there." Herrmann smiled. Layla and Kayla nodded. "How about the two rascals? Were they well behaved?" Caleb asked. "Oh yeah. The two were really good." Herrmann said. "Are you home alone?" Caleb asked. "Still. Cindy went shopping with the kids." Herrmann said. "Okay, we have to go back too. We still have to unpack and clean up. Thanks for dog sitting." Caleb said, putting Spiky and Filou on the leash. Back home, Caleb let the two dogs off the leash and they immediately ran into the living room. «Hey, well? Were they well behaved?" Matt asked. "Yes, they were very good." Caleb said. "By the way, you got mail." Stella said, handing him a letter. Caleb looked at the letter and hesitated. "What's going on?" Kelly asked. "It's just, the letter is from my school." Caleb said. "Open it." Kelly said. Caleb got the letter opener from the kitchen drawer and opened the letter. "And? Did you get expelled from school?" Kelly joked. Caleb punched his forearm and sat down on one of the bar stools. "No, it's the new class list and general information for the new school year." Caleb said. "And? Anything special?" Stella asked. "Yes, my classroom will be across campus and none of my friends will be in my class." Caleb said. "Hey, it doesn't matter. You'll make new friends and you can still meet up during breaks." Kelly said, ruffling his hair. "Yes, perhaps. I now have to feed the fish and clean the aquarium. Besides, I have to unpack." Caleb said and went upstairs to his room. Kelly looked at the papers. "Moreover, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday he won't come home until around 8 p.m. He has school until 5 p.m. and then he has soccer training" Kelly said. "Dad, Uncle Matt, can you give me a hand?" Caleb called. "We're coming." Kelly said and the two went upstairs. "Hey, school won't start for two and a half months. Until then, I suggest you enjoy the stress-free time." Kelly said. Caleb nodded. After unpacking his suitcases and bags and cleaning the aquarium, Caleb went into the living room and turned on the TV. In the afternoon he met his friends in Millennium Park and told them about his Thailand vacation and showed them photos.
