Once at the hotel, Kelly went straight to Caleb's room on the 1st floor and knocked on the door. "Hey." Caleb said as he opened the door. "Hey, how was the museum?" Kelly asked. "Really great." Caleb said, getting his cell phone from his bed. Kelly came into the room and closed the door behind him. Caleb showed his dad all the photos he took and told him everything. Kelly listened intently and smiled proudly. "Oh yeah, here I got you some souvenirs too." Caleb said, pulling a bag out of his gym bag. The bag contained 4 jerseys of the Swiss national soccer team and lots of other souvenirs. "If they don't want the jerseys, I also have various magnets, keychains, or other smaller souvenirs." Caleb said. "I'm sure they'll like the shirts. Are you coming up with me? We got you something too." Kelly said. Caleb nodded and put the jerseys back in the bag. The little ones were bouncing around on the bed as Caleb and Kelly walked into the room. "Looks kind of different when you're exhausted." Caleb said. "Kiki." Lydia called excitedly and ran to her big brother. Halfway down she fell and crawled the rest of the way. "We still have to practice that long-distance run." Caleb laughed, picking up his little sister and kissing her. "Lydia stole my Monkey." Benjamin said. "No, she didn't...she did." Caleb said after Stella nodded at him. "You're becoming a little thief, huh." Caleb said, and Lydia smiled at him. "What's in there?" Benjamin asked, trying to look into the bag. Caleb sat down on the bed and dumped the bag out. "How was the museum anyway?" Stella asked. "Really great. You can learn all about FIFA and even put your soccer skills to the test.” Caleb said. "Mommy, can I wear this?" Benjamin asked, holding out the jersey. "How was the zoo? Except that Lydia stole Benny's stuffed monkey." Caleb asked. "It was nice. I think the little ones liked it too." Stella said. "We saw a lot of monkeys." Benjamin added, stuck in his jersey. "Did I buy the wrong size?" Caleb asked. "No, but getting your head through the armhole can be a little tricky." Stella laughed. "Mommy, I'm stuck." Benjamin said. "Come here. I'll help you." Stella said and pulled her son to her. Then there was a knock on the door and Kelly opened it. «Kayab. Did you bring us anything?” Matty asked, hugging his cousin. “It’s nice to see you too.” Caleb said and laughed. "Matty look." Benjamin said, pointing to his jersey. "May I have one too?" Matty asked. Caleb took the other jerseys and gave them to Matty and the twins. "I've just brought you girls a jersey too. If you'd prefer something different, I have a selection of smaller souvenirs in my room." Caleb said, helping Matty put on the jersey. "How was it?" Matt asked. "Really great. We got to the museum around 11 and I got back to the hotel about an hour ago." Caleb said. "Oh wow, you put up with it for a long time." Matt said. "Mhmm, it's also a big museum with 4 floors and everything a soccer's heart desires." Caleb said. "So, what do we want to do now?" Kelly asked. "I do not know. The little ones look pretty tired. Maybe we should get something small to eat at the airport and then go to bed early.” Sylvie said. "Yeah, honestly, I'm getting jet lagged too." Caleb said. "All right then. Come on." Kelly said. In a supermarket at the airport, they bought drinks, sandwiches and something sweet. They went to the airport observation deck, ate and watched the planes take off and land.
Back at the hotel, everyone went to their rooms. Kelly put Benjamin to bed and read him a story. Stella was getting Lydia ready for bed when there was a knock on the door. Stella put Lydia in the cot and opened the door. "Hey Matt. What's up?" Stella asked in surprise. "Can I come in?" he asked. "Yeah, come in. Kelly is reading a book to Benny." Stella said. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Kelly asked. "Did you notice Caleb was a little too quiet at dinner?" Matt asked. "Yes, I wanted to go to him now anyway." Kelly said. "Are you taking the stuffed animals we bought him?" Stella reminded him. "Oh yeah, almost forgot." Kelly said, getting the stuffed snow leopard and stuffed giraffe out of one of the suitcases. Kelly went down to the 1st floor and knocked on Caleb's room door. "Who is it?" Caleb asked. "It's me." Kelly said. "Give me a minute." Caleb called. Kelly leaned against the door frame and shook his head, smiling. "Hey, what's up?" Caleb asked, letting his dad in. "Am I interrupting?" Kelly asked. "Somehow. I was just taking a shower." Caleb said, taking the towel to the bathroom. "Are you okay?" Kelly asked. "Yeah, why do you ask?" Caleb asked while fixing his hair. "Well, you seemed a little absent during dinner." Kelly said. "Oh yeah, I am sorry. I was just thinking about all the things that have happened over the past few weeks." Caleb said. "But if anything is wrong, you can always come to me. You know that." Kelly said. "Yes, I know. You're telling me that for the thousandth time." Caleb said. “I just want to make sure you know that too. We are here for you It doesn't matter what." Kelly said. Caleb now rolled his eyes a bit annoyed. "Sorry. I won't bring it up again, but here, the little ones picked something for you." Kelly said, handing him the two stuffed animals. "Cool. Thanks." Caleb said. "You're welcome. Good, I'll leave you alone now." Kelly smiled. "What time do we leave tomorrow?" Caleb asked, yawning. "We will see it then. I'll wake you up tomorrow when we leave." Kelly said. "Okay." Caleb said, turning on the TV and snuggling into the blanket. "Okay, sleep tight then. And if you need anything, you come upstairs." Kelly said and gave him a kiss. "I love you, Dad." Caleb said. "I love you too." Kelly said and left the room. "And is he okay?" Stella asked when Kelly came back. "Yeah, he was just thinking." Kelly said, getting into bed with Stella. "About what?" Stella asked. “Whatever I think about too. About what's happened in the last 6 weeks." Kelly said. "We'll manage. Like we always do." Stella said, kissing him and laying her head on his shoulder. "Yeah, we do." Kelly murmured.
