Edser In Love

Quarantine Series - 1

Well, this one was my personal favourite prompt. Having been gone through a Covid quarantine phase recently, I thought to write on this.

Although Edser quarantined together is going to be more fun and sassy, rather than worrying of disease!

So, I will give short drabble kinds probably 3-4 OS about how they spend 2 weeks of their quarantine together.

PS:- when they start real dating, so still a little shy around each other even though they have had made out a few times by now.

2 days ago, Eda, his girlfriend had started showing a few symptoms of Coronavirus. And hypochondriac Serkan freaked out as soon as Eda called him to inform him that she won't be coming to work today due to fever and cold and cough.

Although Eda tried to calm him down saying it could be probably because of changing season, he called Dilek hanim at the earliest and asked if the test was needed to confirm if she had Covid or not? He had rolled his eyes remembering how she wanted to go to beach a few days ago and have a swim even though Serkan had protested saying there would be a lot of people.

So, on doctor's instructions and constant pressurising from Serkan, she had to undergo the test yesterday and the result came out saying she was positive for the virus.

The first thing Serkan did as soon as he was informed by Dilek hanim that his girlfriend was positive was to get her shifted to his house. He had literally fought with Ayfer hanim saying he was going to take care of her when she was in quarantine. Because his hyperactive mind was getting no rest when it came to diseases and Eda being infected with a virus currently causing a pandemic was just adding to his concern and Eda knew if she wanted Serkan to have peaceful sleep at nights, it was better shifting to his house.

The tables had turned today when Serkan feeling some symptoms had got himself immediately tested, and now he had the result in his hand, on his phone. He was positive as well. So, here he was, opening the door to Eda's room in his house. Where she had been quarantined. Now that they both had contracted the virus, the doctor had given him a green signal to join his girlfriend (fiancé for the world) and be quarantined for 14 days minimum.

Not that he would regret it of course. He would get 14 whole days and nights with Eda and nobody would get to disturb them. Of course he was a little worried about Eda's health and his.

He opened the door of Eda's room and saw her sitting in bed with a blanket wrapped around her legs drawing something. She looked up as soon as he opened the door and she spoke worriedly,
"Serkan.. you are positive too?"

Serkan nodded. Walking in his room and sat by her side on the bed.
"I am. Report came out just now. So we will have to be quarantined together now." He said with a slight smile.

"Serkan, I am sorry. You might have got infected from me. I was careless. I am sorry. I know you get extremely stressed when you have any kind of disease or illness... I.. I shouldn't have agreed to come here for quarantine." Eda said sadly.

In the time she had known Serkan, she knew him to be extremely vulnerable to stress of getting diseases.

"Hey. Hey. It's okay. Eda. Baby don't apologise. We might not know where I got infected from. So relax. And see I am relaxed too. Somehow knowing that I will now be with you, able to take care of you closely without having to worry behind the closed doors between us, gives me peace. Eda, we are in this together. Although I wanted to ask, are you comfortable being in quarantine with me? I mean we will have to stay in for 14 days. I have asked Seyfi and Anne and all others to not come to this part of the Bolat estate. So we can have my whole house to ourselves. It will give us freedom of movement within my place and not getting bored and staying locked in a room." He spoke caressing her cheeks.
