Project 863 - The Mystery

~Chapter 12~

River stood with Matthias as he talked to Bailey as she tried calling Sam and Woods to see if one of them would answer as she saw Matthias pulling out her phone she looked at him. "Sam nor Woods are answering their phones, Matt." River spoke looking at him as Matthias sighed before speaking. "Wherever they are, there is no reception. I'm gonna go. We're gonna look at the evidence because whatever they saw it has to be up there." Matthias spoke as River and Quinn followed him back upstairs as they went into the vault while Matthias spoke. "Everything they found led them to a location so whatever that location is, where would they put it..." Matthias mumbled as he looked through boxes to try and find his answer. Matthias was able to find a box as he pulled it out before they went through the evidence piece by piece as River picked up an electrical box.

When she opened it, she had seen that there were more vials of serum inside as she showed it to Matthias as he was surprised before he spoke. "So they found their serum." He spoke as she nodded looking at him as he looked through the evidence, after a while, they weren't able to find anything so they put it back as River noticed he was angry as she looked at him. When he looked back at her he sighed. "I gotta keep calm. It won't help if I'm scared, freaking out, angry, or anything. I'm going to take this slow, I have to be more calculated otherwise it will be a lost cause." Matthias spoke as River nodded patting him on the arm as he picked up a tape from the shelf. "Beware the tape," Matthias spoke as River gave him the tape. 

"I'm hoping it's not this because I don't have a way to play this. I can check around the studio but I can say with confidence we never have had a VHS player. Let along with a VHS tape in this entire studio, it could remnants from past residents but we've cleared these places out for the most part." Matthias spoke as they tried to find a VHS tape, seeing that no one had one so they went back upstairs to talk to the Discord Server as she watched Matthias talk to the server. Matt: @Everyone Anyone there? We need your help. Matthias spoke in the server as he watched the reactions and the messages they got back as Matthias sighed. "So how do I pitch this. I'm such an idiot. For this happening in the first place, how do I tell everyone what happened? Looks like everyone is here." Matthias spoke as he looked through some of the messages.

Matt: Hey! Need your guidance for a bit guys. Looks like we have a bit of a situation. Matthias sends in the server as they see messages being flooded into the chat as Matthias sighed, "How do we communicate this?" Matthias asked as River shrugged her shoulders before thinking. "Okay let me try to message them." She spoke before grabbing her phone as she opened discord to talk on her account. River: We haven't heard from Sam and Woods and we can't get ahold of them. We aren't sure, but they might be heading into a trap. River sent into the server as they read the messages from the server, some mentioning how they need to improve their location as Matthias sighed. "Watch the tape but remember the notes said do not trust it... We know, we can't watch the tape..." Matthias spoke reading the messages as Matthias responded to people.

Matt: We can't watch the tape. We have no VHS we are at the studio. Matthias sent as people were responding telling him that they needed a VCR or to grab one as Matthias responded to them. Matt: We don't have time to grab a VCR. Matthias sends as River sees someone asking where they went as she decided to respond to them. River: We think that they headed to Syntec Location 3. I tried calling them but no one picked up. The clues didn't seem that solid, the location has to be on the tape though. River sent as Matthias sent his own message after River. Matt: They might check it later but I don't want to wait. Matthias sent as he read the messages from people as he responded. Matt: Bailey said they went to location 3, she must have overheard them. It's possible that they saw it on the tape but maybe they saw the address at their coords they picked up from. The tracker is still in the same location. We are concerned we'll be too late if we go and investigate ourselves. Who else might know? Matthias hit send as he and River read the messages from the people on the server.
