Project 863 - The Mystery

~Chapter 16~

River had decided to take the day off from being in the recent video that they were recording dares and things that they should do for the day while River decided to work on stuff related to Dope or Nope in her office. She had been sitting there for a while until Matthias had texted her when it was a little bit later into the day. Matt: You what believe what we just did, we stole the mountaineer back. Matthias sent to her as she smiled looking at the text before texting him back. River: That's cool! She responded hitting send before she heard someone coming upstairs as Matthias came into her office as he spoke when he saw her. "The others are set up to go through the mountaineer," Matthias explained as she nodded looking at him as she sat there. 

"Anyways, have you been okay? Anymore of the phantom following you?" Matthias asked as River shook her head looking at him, "Nope. After the store thing, I haven't seen him nor vials just appearing out of nowhere." River explained as Matthias nodded looking at her before he dragged her downstairs while Sam, Woods, and Matthias sat down as they started recording. "As many of you are aware, we stole back our rightful property which is the mountaineer which oddly showed up in a murder tape. Confirmed murder tape by an undercover officer, we decided to take it upon ourselves for various reasons to help uncover all the mysteries and clues behind the murder because once we can do that we can hopefully get our hands on some antidotes." Matthias spoke as Sam looked at him before she spoke. "I mean you still feel fine right?" Sam asked as Matthias nodded before responding to her.

"I'm not feeling great, the best way to describe it is just a little unwell, just like lower energy than normal. How about you River? I know you were affected by the serum too, just differently." Matthias spoke looking at her as she nodded looking at him away from the camera. "I feel fine, nothing feels wrong, just tired." River spoke as Matthias nodded as Sam looked at them. "I mean are you sure you're not just stressed out?" Sam asked the two as they shrugged their shoulders before Woods spoke. "Have you made a bucket list?" Woods asked which caused everyone to laugh. "Should that be a video? Crossing off bucket list items. Before we die." Matthias spoke as everyone laughed at the joke that was formed there while River moved to sit with them in front of the camera as Sam spoke. "I don't know what that stuff does but I don't want to live in a world where it's like oh Matt and River are dying," Sam spoke as River looked at her as she sat there with them.

"So you're just going to be in denial?" She asked her as Sam nodded while Matthias decided to form another joke as he looked at Sam. "Open your mouth." He told her as she shook her head while River looked at them confused before Matthias spoke. "Are you infected?" Matthias asked as Sam shook her head laughing before responding to him. "I knew you would bring this up on camera because you saw me eating airheads earlier," Sam spoke as Matthias laughed before sticking out her tongue as it was yellow. "It's the weirdest color. Anyways, cheap versus expensive. We should have gotten there way earlier. Today we're going to do a challenge. Cheap vs expensive spy slash detective gear at this murder scene of this car. We're going to pull the car... take a look at this." Matthias spoke as Quinn turned the camera around the room to show the plastic before it showed Tanner who was sitting on the floor on his phone. 

"Don't worry about him," Matthias spoke as Tanner looked up at them before responding. "It wasn't me," Tanner spoke as Matthias rolled his eyes jokingly before he spoke. "Sweetie, no one thought that. So cheap versus expensive stuff. We're going to pull the car in and we're going to see which is better to uncover evidence that we've previously not found right because we had a little argument, Woods and I, off-camera. You didn't see it and I thought higher-tech gear exists for a reason." Matthias spoke as Woods had a response back before they got up going to the garage door. Sam was able to open the garage door showing the mountaineer on the other side as River moved over to it to look at it. When Sam opened the driver's door, it had caused the alarm to go off which caused another joke to happen of everyone jokingly dancing to the alarm go off while Matthias and Sam tried to stop the alarm. 

When Sam was able to get the car started and the alarm turned off she spoke to them. "All right! Bye!" Sam spoke as she backed up while Matthias laughed some. "Wrong way. You're gonna leave in that car? Have at it, don't get pulled over or anything."  Matthias responded as a joke which caused people to laugh as Sam pulled into the warehouse as she turned the car off and got out as Matthias spoke. "Thank you for turning that off because we don't want to die of asphyxiation," Matthias spoke as Sam nodded leaving the garage door open so they wouldn't die of asphyxiation as Matthias spoke to everyone. "First product to start with, gloves," Matthias spoke as he went to grab gloves while Matthias took the gloves from Woods when he tried to grab them. 

"No, I get the expensive ones. You have to make gloves out of this stuff." Matthias said as a joke as he pointed to the sterile plastic hanging on the wall before giving Woods his gloves before they started going through the mountaineer. They had been able to find things like hair, blood, more vials in hidden spots as Woods and Matthias did a challenge to see who could get fingerprints off of the vials as Sam was able to find a map on the inside of the hood. "We've never seen this before," Sam spoke as she mentioned to the map on the hood as Matthias nodded agreeing with her as Sam started to point in directions. "North, South, East, West," Sam said as she pointed in the directions of the map as Matthias spoke. 

"That must be us. That's the freeway, right? Next to the freeway." Matthias spoke as he pointed to the center of the hood as Sam mentioned how they meet before pointing at little yellow x's as they looked at it. "The RSD has serums that we have seen and already collected. There was one here and there." Sam spoke as she pointed to the locations before Matthias pointed to a spot on the hood as Sam looked at it curiously. "Does it say, Sam?" She asked curiously as Matthias shook his head before responding. "It says 3 am." He spoke as Sam looked at it confused. "Does the others have time?" Sam asked as River shook her head before Sam spoke again. "That means there is so much more serum," Sam spoke as Matthias nodded before ending the video.
