Project 863 - The Mystery

~Chapter 24~

After working for a while, everyone decided to go to the store to get things for the new stakeout. They all got into the car as Matthias spoke to them. "Each of you can pick out one thing but it has to be entertaining for the audience." He spoke driving as Bailey nodded before she responded back to him. "So it can be a toy or snack," Bailey explained as Sam added on a beverage as Matthias nodded while he drove. "One thing, it has to entertain subject 4. The budget is fifty dollars. Personally, if I were you, I would find some protection. Who knows what's gonna happen tonight." Matthias spoke earing a 'Woah' from Sam as Quinn nodded before asking a question. "Why do you guys think it's a ghost?" Quinn asked curiously as Bailey looked at him confused before he spoke looking at her. "I just think it's a chemical reaction." He added as Matthias glanced back at him before he continued driving as he spoke. "A chemical reaction that can spell Quinn?" He asked curiously as Quinn shrugged his shoulders, responding back to him "Maybe it's a humidity-secret-heh-ink-by-a-person-not-a-ghost. I'm not an anti-ghost guy." Quinn spoke as everyone laughed. 

After they got to Target everyone got out as Matthias brought up the one item thing as they went their own ways to find something. Bailey had found a game that was called Ultimate Catch Phrase, Woods and Matt getting a drifting car, and snacks, as they all went back to the studio as Woods, began to open the drift cars as Matthias and Woods raced their cars around the studio as Woods had won by a few seconds before going through the fan mail as he pulled out 3D prints as they played a game where they would have to pull out a channel and spill tea about it as they played one game as they got the wine opened before continuing the game as they all took their turns before ending the game. After the game, Matthias decided to get everyone's sleeping arrangements set up as they talked about him having nest cameras as Matthias spoke. "I have alerts on so movement. It picks up spiders." He spoke as Woods looked at him confused before responding back to him.

"Do you not check alerts because of frequent alerts it sends?" Woods responded as Matthias shook his head before explaining how he himself and other people check it and he explained about how they would call and how a simple piece of paper could trigger the alarm as they decided to try snacks before going to bed as they decided a time to wake up as they went up to Mattthias's office so he could show his bed as they joked about what would happen if he had woken up in a cold sweat since his bed was under his desk he had to rise as they sat down while Sam brought up about watching the nest cameras before Matthias told her that they wouldn't need to monitor them that moment since nothing would happen before 3 am as Sam had set up a calendar invite for ghost sighting at 3 am inviting everyone before everyone left going to their places for sleep. River had joined Sam and Bailey in Sam's office to sleep while Matthias and Woods went to sleep in Matthias's office. 

When they got into Sam's office, River laid in her respected bed as River and Bailey watched Sam get everything set up as Sam went to read information about 3 am before they went to sleep. A few hours Sam had woken up the two as she grabbed the camera before they left her office going downstairs as Sam busted into the room before speaking loudly. "Hello, Good morning! It's so dark in here." Sam spoke as she turned on the lights as they heard the whines from Matthias complaining about her turning on the lights as Bailey spoke to them. "It's time to bust some ghosts." Bailey spoke as Sam pointed the camera at Woods before River spoke. "Oh Woods is mad at you Sam. Looks like he wants to-" River began as Woods shook his head talking about how he thought he was home as Matthias asked if she had woken him up early as Sam shrugged her shoulders as she looked at him while Bailey responded back to him. 

"Just a little, we aren't going to sleep through this while we are here." Bailey spoke as Matthias talked about how good sleep felt before Sam decided to speak up. "I didn't sleep." Sam spoke as River and Bailey nodded agreeing with her while Sam spoke again. "My allergies are flaring up." Sam spoke as Matthias looked at her concerned as he spoke. "Oh really?" He asked as Sam nodded looking back at him before she responded back to him. "Yeah I feel stuffy. I don't know what's happening." Sam spoke as Matthias asked for her to turn off the lights as River chuckled turning them off as Sam spoke about how it was dark in there now before she went to wake up Quinn as he spoke looking at Sam. "I was like half-awake because I hear you go... I don't know, you were just really loud over there." Quinn spoke as he grabbed the camera as everyone else got up as Sam spoke. "Do we think Blue Base is going to be the base we should be in?" Sam asked curious as Matthias got curious as to where Woods was before Sam responded about how he was in the bathroom as she joked about him having a small bladder before Bailey began to speak.

"Let's think about this. For the first two days, Friday night and Saturday night it was in Blue Base. Sunday was in Red base. Do you think we should go to Red Base?" Bailey suggested as Sam shrugged her shoulders as they watched Matthias open a bag of Dove chocolates as he read the little saying inside the chocolate. "Don't talk about it, just be about it. I feel too tired to get scared right now." Matthias spoke as River got confused about the saying before she spoke. "You super confident?" She asked him as he decided to joke for a moment. "Say something spooky. Matthias channel ends." Matthias spoke as a joke as everyone chuckled before Woods responded back to him. "GG's back." Woods spoke as Matthias laughed as he responded back, "GG's back, shut up." Matthias said as Woods spoke about Matthias being cranky which had caused for Matthias to cover his face with his blanket in a spooky way before Sam made a joke. "Okay Phantom of the Opera." Sam spoke as Woods told her not to speak about Opera before Matthias asked when they should begin to walk around as they decided to go to Blue Base warehouse. 

Matthias had decided to gasp which had caused for everyone to look at him before telling him he was kidding as they sighed frustrated before they went around Blue Base, checking to make sure no writing appeared on the walls as Sam explained the significance to 3 am as they checked the kitchen while Woods made a joke about the Wash Your Hands that had been written on the black board which made Matthias to give off a look that made him look annoyed and Bailey freaking out as they went upstairs and checked upstairs as Matthias got spooked by Sam's blazer as they checked the other rooms before going downstairs as they checked other places before Chanel had scared them before Matthias saw on his phone about notifications as he spoke. "I got three notifications. All Red Base." Matthias spoke looking at them as they left Blue Base to go to Red Base as they could smell spray paint as they continued walking around the warehouse first before going to going upstairs. They began to check the rooms upstairs before they near the stairs seeing some written on the walls as everyone gets spooked. 

"It says What's Wrong." River spoke as Bailey got confused as they had slowly went upstairs as Matthias touched the red spray paint, seeing that it was wet meaning it was fresh as they continued going upstairs, questioning how someone could be able to get that written on there as they looked around before going into the warehouse as Woods spoke. "Uhm... Matt..." Woods spoke as Matthias got confused before seeing some writing on the wall as they walked towards it before Bailey spoke. "It says find." Bailey spoke as Matthias had moved the object that was covering the rest before Bailey spoke once more. "Find Me." Bailey read as Sam started to freak out as Matthias noticed the object blocking it had leaked through as he spoke. "It appeared behind there wet." Matthias explained as Sam got confused about whoever it is wanted them to find as Sam spoke. "Makes it sound like there is a dead body. I'm just saying, if we are going into supernatural world of things a lot of ghosts wouldn't be able to continue on." Sam spoke as Matthias had freaked out about her mentioning how it could be the person wanting them to find the dead body. 

Once they had gotten away from the location they talked about how they were all feeling about the second writing that they had found before deciding to try and find the other one as they walked out of Red Base they had found a mirror that had something behind it which made everyone freak out as Woods and Matthias both took the mirror down as Sam, Bailey, and River all spoke about what was on the wall. "Look Closer." They all spoke as Sam brought up the smiley face they saw as Matthias and Woods brought up how it didn't smell like paint as everyone else smelled it confused while Matthias decided to smear it down as Sam spoke. "Look closer? I feel like we might be missing something, what is the smiley face? Is it a game? Are we doing something with the joker?" Sam asked curious as they continued the conversation trying to figure out what was the substance of the thing written on the wall as Sam spoke. "We have, Can you keep a secret? You're not listening. Help me. What's wrong?, Find me, and Look closer." Sam explained as Matthias had gotten lost before they all decided to head home for the night.
