Athena's POV

Slowly opening my eyes, I looked at my surroundings. We were still on the plane. I lifted my head of whatever I was leaning on and let out a small yawn.

That's when I realised that I literally dozed off with my head on Sean's shoulder. I looked at him and found that he was sleeping as well, with his head against the headrest in a sitting position.

My brows raised on their own. He didn't wake me up or move me, instead, he stayed like that and allowed me to sleep while he looked pretty damn uncomfortable. I glanced at the time.

Only three hours were left.

What was with that man? One second he's being a dick and the next, he's all sweet.

Shaking my head, I got up from my seat and stood there, staring at him as I wondered on how to get him into a comfortable position without disturbing his sleep. He looked pretty deep asleep so I hoped he wouldn't wake up.

Leaning a little, I brought my hand to the side of his head and slowly lowered his head on the couch. I then moved over to his long as hell legs and placed them on it as well before taking a few steps back to admire what I did.

Well, at least he looked comfortable— enough.

My eyes caught sight of his laptop which was still turned on and his wallpaper was on display. It was a picture of him and Thea.

I bit my lip as I stared at the picture. They looked so damn happy. He had his arm around around her shoulder while hers were around his waist and they were both smiling.

Sean's smile was absolutely gorgeous and genuine. And while I've never seen him smile like that before, I wished he did it again.

I hated this—the feeling of guilt which would rush through me every single time I'd hear Thea's name being mentioned but I knew that what I did was good. It was the best option.

At least I saved a life.

But someone lost their life as well.

My eyes flickered from Sean's wallpaper to him. He looked so peaceful as he slept— like he didn't have much heavy weights on his shoulders.

He could've asked his friends for help but he didn't, knowing that they had gone through enough. I mean, they had. But he did too. However, he decided that he could deal with this whole Joseph issue on his own. I admired him for that. He was a good friend, the best one could ask for.

I did not know why he did that— putting his friends before him but he did it anyway. I've noticed how he'd behave around them, so freely. He didn't care about keeping up with his reputation or anything when he was in their presence but when he wasn't with them, he was so different.

Sean has been plaguing my mind lately. I've been thinking of him constantly. His grey eyes were often the last thing I'd see before dozing off at night.

I've noticed a lot of things about him— when he'd get angry or annoyed, he run a hand through his hair, pulling them lightly before letting go. He would clench his jaw or grit his teeth when he wants to say something but is unable to.

He would get really defensive when it came to Thea. He didn't like it when people cut him off when he was speaking. He had everything planned out and didn't want to include anyone in his plans in fear of them ruining everything.

He would roll his eyes everytime he doesn't know what to say or doesn't want to admit having done something.

He loved Nick and Elisa with his whole being even though he way he'd behave with them would say otherwise. He actually cared for them a lot and was ready to do anything for them.

He was alone, he has no family so he'd hang out with his friends or with Nick in attempt to shove the loneliness away. That part was quite evident to me. He was the kind of person who'd do anything for the ones he cared about.
