"What do you want with me?" Matteo questioned, pushing himself off the ground before dusting his clothes. He turned to face Emma then looked back at Sean and I. "Let her go!"
"I don't do well with orders."
"Look, I'm not stupid, okay?" Matteo glared at us, fixing his collar for some reason, "my men have strong orders to simply attack if I don't walk out of this place in ten minutes."
"Oh no." Sean said dryly before letting out an annoyed grunt, "okay, I can't continue with this shit anymore. Matt, love, you are dying today. Any last wish?"
"How can you be so blunt about this?" Emma questioned, eyes wide opened making Sean roll his eyes at her, "zip it, woman. You are giving me a headache. I've got stuff to do."
"You killed my daughter—" Matteo dismissed Sean's words as he looked at me with anger in his eyes, "—as well as a lot of my men and now you've joined hands with Sean Blackwood no less and kidnapped my woman and child? What the fuck did I ever do to you?"
"They deserved it."
"No, they didn't!" He snarled, taking a step closer only to take two back when Sean shot him a glare.
Damn.
Focus—
"What did they ever do to you?" Matteo asked again, fists clenched to his sides, "I didn't even know you! You just... appeared out of nowhere and started killing my men and then my daughter like— I don't know— you fucking psychotic bitch!"
"Your men did something... years ago," I informed, keeping a blank look on my face as I did that, not wanting to give anything away, "and you sent your daughter to me willingly so her death is kinda on you."
"On me?" He repeated, pointing to himself with a look of disbelief spreaded across his disgusting face, "you killed her!"
"I didn't kill her." I was not lying.
"Then who did?"
"Luigi," I responded calmly and was not taken aback when he didn't look surprised. I knew he knew that Luigi had something to do with it. "Of course," Matteo mumbled, shaking his head, "Thea Gonzalez. I know she's alive."
"We know you know," Sean said, "we are two steps ahead."
"How do you know?' without giving us the time to answer, he shot us another question, "where's she?"
"Why?" Sean was the one to ask, his eyes completely livid, "why do you wanna know? Why are you looking for her?"
"She's the legimate heir of the Mexican mafia," Matteo replied, "I need her to sign some papers."
"Why would you want the Mexican mafia?" I asked, "they are ruined. They are nothing."
"That's what you think." Matteo had a smirk tugging at his lips making me furrow my brows in confusion, "what do you mean?" We knew they were rebuilding but that was going to take ages and now that we killed Luigi's supposed son or something, they were without a leader so were probably running around like idiots, not knowing what to do.
"Who told you about that?" Sean asked which confused me even more. What the hell was 'that'? Matteo's lips twitched up and a mischievous looked settled in his eyes as his brows arched up, "oh so you know."
"Know what?" I voiced out my thoughts, "what the hell are we talking about here?"
Sean glanced at me then back at Matteo as he replied, keeping his eyes fixed on the guy, "before we took down the Mexican Mafia, I found out some rather interesting shit about Rafael Gonzalez. He— he had a couple of million dollars worth savings."
