I followed Sean inside the house. I didn't know that he had a freaking home in France. I thought we were going to stay in a hotel or something.
"Take any room you want." He spoke up making me look at him as he pointed to a door upstairs, "but that one's mine. Now go freshen up."
Nodding, I made my way upstairs, dragging my suitcase along with me. I took the room beside Sean's because why not? They were all the same anyway but the one I chose had a balcony which gave me a clear view of the backyard which contained a pool.
I wanted to go sight seeing. I mean, come on, I was in France— Paris, on top of that. What the hell was I doing there if I didn't go all tourist mode?
After taking a quick shover, I wore a white shirt, a pair of jeans and my combat boots before trying my long black hair into a ponytail. I then grabbed my phone and went downstairs where I saw Sean.
He allowed his eyes to travel across my body, taking in my appearance before he looked at me with his brows raised questioning, "going somewhere?"
I nodded, "sight seeing, of course."
"No." He shook his head, "you're not going anywhere."
"Why not?" I inquired, tilting my head to the side, "we are in France and we aren't doing anything until tomorrow so we're free today so why should we stay here and do nothing when we can go out there and have some fun?"
"We?" He repeated with a smirk, "so you plan on indulging me in your... plans?"
"Well yes I wasn't planning on having fun alone." I shrugged, "that's boring. So, are you coming? If you're not, that's totally fine too."
He let out a sigh, his hand reaching out to his head before he ran his fingers through his hair, "fuck," he muttered under his breath, looking at me with a look of seriousness in his eyes, "I don't think you understand. You're in France right now— you know, the country in which your grandfather, the french mob boss lives. If he sees you—" he paused, shaking his head, dismissing those thoughts away, "—whatever. We need to lay low until tomorrow."
"Then tomorrow we can go tourist mode?" I asked, "after we've succeeded in killing him, we can go around and do whatever we want, right?" He nodded at that which made me smirk, "then you're gonna come with me."
"Come with you to what?" He arched his brows, "play the tourist?" I shot him a nod in response, "yes. But for now what? I'm bored."
"You need to find a dress for tomorrow night." He replied as I walked over and plopped down on the couch since we were in the living room which happened to be just a few feet away from the main door. "I've already called in someone to help you with that."
"Won't Joseph recognise us through the masks?" I asked resulting in him shaking his head, "no, the masks are good enough. We're gonna be fine."
Just then, someone knocked on the door. Sean went to open it, allowing a girl inside. "Hello, good morning." She smiled, greeting us both cheerfully as a man entered, dragging along with him a rack filled with dresses. I got up on my feet as another man followed with another rack— followed by two other men. They even brought shoes and jewelleries.
What the hell?
"Here you go." Sean looked at me with a smirk upon noticing the expression on my face, "dress, shoes, jewelleries and whatever shit you need. Have fun." He turned to walk away when I stopped him, "wait, where do you think you're going?"
"To my room." He replied, turning to look at me, "why?"
"No, no, no you're not." I walked over and grabbed his arm, "you're actually coming with me—" I glanced at the other people in the house, correcting myself, "—us. I am very indecisive and I'm going to need your help."
"You have her," he pointed to the girl who was standing there awkwardly. I shook my head, "but I want you."
His brows shot up and a suggestive smirk played on his lips, "really?"
I rolled my eyes, "you know what I meant. Now, come on or I might not find a dress till tomorrow."
"Fine," he muttered, sliding his phone which was in his hand in his pocket as he allowed me to drag him to my room while the other people followed with their racks of clothes.
