I tried to take it slow. And trust me when I say, I have— at least, I did. But unfortunately, I no longer could.

Weeks turned into months and my feelings for Athena only grew stronger. She was unlike any woman I've ever known; she was strong, beautiful, smart, strong-willed, independent— I could go on. Overall, she was perfect.

Things have been going on pretty smoothly till now. Antonio was doing a fantastic job running the French Mafia while of course, consulting either Athena or me.

Alessio and Thea were happier than ever. They resumed with their life, would hang out, go on dates and stuff. Honestly, I was happy for them. They both deserved each other. I mean, after every shit they've been through, they were each other's way out and I totally get that.

Athena and I would pretty much do everything together. She's been helping me managing the American mafia by helping me with all the annoying paperworks. We'd spend half of the time working and the other half making out which would always end up in us naked and tired thus, retarding my work but that was fine. I did not mind at all.

Everyone who were part of my mafia knew that she was my girlfriend and so, they respected her. They didn't want to find out what would happen to them if they didn't.

Lea, Thea and Athena grew closer over the past few months. I think it would be safe to say that they were besties. They would go out, have sleepovers and similar things like that without me, Enzo or Alessio— not that we minded. Okay no we definitely had a problem with that. But we could not complain since we didn't exactly take them with us when we'd hang out as well.

For instance, right now we were in my favourite club which I named ‘The Howl of the girl’ because it's a very amazing and unique name and also because I totally wanted to constantly remind Alessio of that one time he fucked a werewolf as I so like to put it.

We were out, just us boys while Athena was out with her sister and best friend. For some weird unknown but concerning reason, Alessio was on his sixth drink. However, he was not drunk yet thanks to his high alcohol tolerance, much like me but I wasn't drinking.

Enzo and I glanced at each other, both holding questioning looks on our faces. Ever since we entered my club which was around fifteen minutes ago and Alessio had not spoken a word to us. All he did was order drinks and he began chugging them out like some highly stressed guy.

Having enough of the silence from him, Enzo took the glass he was about to grab before he could and put it away, "you're gonna say something? Because I didn't come here to watch you get drunk."

"Something happened," I narrowed my eyes at Alessio who mirrored my expression mockingly. I internally rolled my eyes, sighing, "come on, tell us."

"I will once I get my drink back," he tapped his fingers on the table in front of him, wordlessly telling Enzo to place his glass back in front of him.

The latter rolled his eyes but did it anyway, "all right. Fine, here you go. Now talk."

Alessio held up a finger, telling us to wait as he grabbed the glass and swallowed the whole content then looked at us. There were several emotions present on his face and eyes, I could tell— which only made my curiosity stronger. "Talk, dude. I'm not that patient."

He took a deep breath, slowly exhaling. "I—" he cleared his throat, "— I think..." He trailed off while I stared at him, waiting for him to continue speaking but he didn't.

"What?" Enzo had a hint of annoyance in his tone, "you think what?"

"I think..." Alessio began, trailing off yet again.

I raised my brows, biting into my fist to prevent any harsh words from leaving my mouth. "Hmm?"

"I think that—"

"— For fuck's sake," I groaned, moving my hand from my face, "if you say I think one more time, I'm gonna shoot you!"

"Shut the fuck up and let me speak!" He seethed, bringing a hand to his head before gripping his hair tightly, "it's some hard shit to say, okay? I need a few moments to myself."

Enzo scoffed in disbelief, leaning back in his seat and crossed his legs, "motherfucker, we gave you like twenty minutes already."

"Yeah, take the whole day, why don't you?" My voice was dripping with sarcasm making Alessio nonchalantly flip me off.

"Okay, okay," he took several deep breaths, "I think..." He then paused again. It was my time to take a deep breath. "You're annoying," I commented, "you think what? You're gay? You better not think that you're into boys and hurt my sister because dude I swear I will set you straigh—"

"— what? No!" He interrupted my amazing line, "I'm not gay. I'm in love with Thea. What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Everything," I replied with a shrug, "what the fuck is it that is so hard for you to say?"

"You're in love with me, is that it?" Enzo asked with an innocent smile on his face. Alessio rolled his eyes at him, "no, Enzo, I'm not in love with you. I love you though."

"Love you too," Enzo smiled, bringing his own glass to his lips before taking a sip. I frowned, "why don't you guys kiss while you're at it?"

"No need to be jealous," Enzo rolled his eyes, "I love you as well."

"You're totally drunk," I laughed earning a blank look from him. Well okay nope, he wasn't. "When I say I love you to someone, I expect to hear it back."

I decided to piss him off, "good to know."

"Never mind," he took another sip of his drink, "I take it back. I absolutely despise you."

"Guys!" Alessio's voice made us snap our heads in his direction. I tilted my head to the side, "is the princess finally ready to speak?"

"Shut up." He placed a finger in front of his lips and I mirrored the action mockingly. "All right, here we go." He cleared his throat, "IthinkTheamightbepregnant."
