"Mom," Lea took a step towards her, "put the gun down and step away from her."

"No, I'm doing us all a favour." She shook her head, "this girl has to go."

Sean clenched his jaw, "woman, I swear if you pull that trigger, I'll make your life a living hell."

"Why don't you people understand?!" Elizabeth exclaimed, exasperated, "she is a threat!"

"The only threat here is you," Sean made an attempt to get this gun but Elizabeth stopped him, "move and I'll shoot her."

"Mom, you're overreacting." Lea narrowed her eyes suspiciously at her, "put the gun down. I won't repeat myself."

"Okay, you know what? That is enough, all of you!" Elizabeth snarled as she kept the gun pointed in my face while her other hand reached out to her pocket. She took out her phone and typed something real quick.

"What the fuck does that mean?" Enzo asked, moving closer to Lea. "What is up with you?"

"That's called fear," I stated, "she's obviously scared because I know some—" I was cut off when she pulled the trigger, missing on purpose as the bullet hitting the wall behind me. I didn't even flinch unlike some others.

"Oh my god, she's lost it." Arabella let out a small gasp.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Lea stared at her wide-eyed. She then attempted to disarm her mom but Elizabeth saw that move from a mile back. The older woman quickly moved away from her, towards the door, hence the gun was moved out from my face. She had her back to the door as she faced us, the gun held in front of her, pointing it in our direction.

Sean grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him. He stared at Elizabeth, "what the fuck are you doing?"

"This is sick," Ricardo huffed, looking at the gun pointed at us, completely unfazed, "lady, get out of here before I call the security."

"One movement from any of us and I will shoot. I don't care who gets shot."

"This is completely absurd." I muttered under my breath, "you do realise that you have absolutely no chance in getting out of here alive, right?"

"Even if you do," Sean began, "we'll find out and it won't be pretty."

"Oh I have my ways." Elizabeth smirked earning a loud sigh from Lea, "why are you doing this? What's the point? What does Athena have to do with this, anyway? What does she know about you that you don't want anyone to find out?"

"This bitch helped Luigi to kill Thea," I blurted out, unable to stop my tongue from running. Elizabeth only shot me a glare at that, "I told you to shut the fuck up!"

"What—" Lea's eyes widened, "—Why would you do that?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Elizabeth rolled her eyes, "Alessio tortured Vladimir on a daily basis, for fuck's sake. I wanted revenge. And Lea? Well, I didn't want to do anything to her because she was his own."

"You wanted to avenge a man who kept a you against your will and abused you?" Blake questioned, "I was there when he literally slapped you and all that shit."

"No, Blake. All of this was just an act." Sean cut in, "she was in love with that motherfucker."

"Oh so so she filled you in." Elizabeth clicked her tongue, "nice. I wonder what else she's told you."

"The true villain of the story, ladies and gentlemen." Sean drawled out dramatically.

"Very funny," Elizabeth rolled her eyes, "I never really liked you. Maybe I should just kill you?" She pointed the gun in his direction. My heart skipped a beat at that. His grip around my hand tightened.

"Mom, that's enough!" Lea yelled making Elizabeth shot us a sickening grin. She then moved the gun to me, "but really, she's the real threat. The girl who knows too much, the girl who wasn't supposed to exist."

"What are you talking about now?" Lea arched her brows. "What do you mean?"

"I've always known it ever since I first saw you," Elizabeth spoke directly to me, ignoring Lea, "I see him in you. I wasn't sure before but when I put all the pieces together, I realized that I was right. My suspicions were proven to be correct."

I clenched my jaw at her words. I thought she was dumb.

"Can you get any more brief?" Blake questioned, annoyance clear in his tone.

"Does Alessio know?" Elizabeth asked me, ignoring the others yet again, "who you really are? I'm guessing he does, doesn't he? He's the one who went digging and found you, am I not right?" She rolled her eyes, "god, I hate that fucker. He can go die for all I care. Always making me face problems!"

"Bitch, he's your son!" I stared at her in disbelief, "he loves you."

"I don't care, I hate him." Elizabeth said, "and you too, by the way."

"I'm not understanding what's happening." Antonio grumbled, "who's she? Why do you hate her?"

"Ugh, she's Robert's daughter, Alessio's half sister—" she looked at Lea, "— surprised? You shouldn't be. Your father has always been a cheating asshole."

"He wasn't the only one apparently." Enzo shot back earning a laugh from the sick bitch. "It was all going so well until he decided that he wanted to Deadly as part of his army. I knew he was going to ruin everything. He wanted me to play along so I did. Once he was captured, I was hoping to save him but before I could— he was killed." After letting out a loud sigh, she said, "but everything was going great until you—" she pointed the gun at me again, "— decided to show up. I felt threatened every day. And look where it lead us. You have ruined my perfect little life. You Romanos suck and I will end your pathetic life!"

Sean was quick to react, placing me behind him, our fingers interlocked together as he hid my body with his, "I'm going to give you a minute to reconsider your decision. Think about what will happen to you."

"Fuck what's going to happen to me." She rolled her eyes, "move so I can kill the bitch."

"You're insane if you think I'll do that," Sean scoffed, "how absolutely stupid of you."

"Listen, Sean—" Elizabeth was cut off by a gunshot. Her eyes grew wide and her lips parted. Blood oozed out of her mouth as the gun fell out of her grasp. She then fell on the ground, revealing a very familiar figure standing behind her.
