- Tanjiro is very obvious when he has a crush on someone

-  And he doesn't try to hide it because he doesn't want to ignore his true feelings

- He is super sweet (more than normal), protective, and overall just the best person when he has a crush

- He just worries you don't feel the same

- Zenitsu tells him to give hints that he likes you and Tanjiro is like

"I already do???"

- But seriously, tanjiro is the sweetest boy ever and the first time you hugged him he short circuited

- It was right after the mugen train when the three boys were back at the butterfly mansion as were you but not for medical needs

- So when you found tanjiro alone in his bed, you immediately went up to him and tried to start a conversation with him

- Only to get short answers

- After a few minutes or so of you doing most of the talking

- You got up from your chair and leaned over towards tanjiro, wrapping your arms around him

"I know you're in pain but believe me, it will pass."

- He started breaking down crying and you thought you said something wrong

- So you quickly started apologizing before he spoke

"I'm sorry i just wasn't expecting that."

- Tanjiro said through tears as he wiped his eyes to get rid of the tears spilling down his face

- He didn't expect your hugs to feel so warm and welcoming

- But after that he was constantly hugging you or asking for hugs

- He assumed this would be a hint as to him obviously liking you, and it did!

- After that he ended up confessing his feelings and you felt the same which made tanjiro so happy

- Tanjiro is also the best at giving hugs

- SAY OTHERWISE AND WE'RE FIGHTING IN THE PARKING LOT 😤

- He really does love your hugs

- And it's the only thing that helps him get to sleep after rengoku's death and the hard toll it took on everyone
