{The Next Night}

You looked out of the balcony, he had taken you to Cairo, you were staying in a hotel room for a few days. It was luxurious and overpriced, not that you minded, being on the river the whole time had worn you down, even if you wouldn't have admitted it to Steve.

Bucky came up behind you and put his arms around you, you were still a bit worried he would turn into the Winter Soldier again but he seemed back to normal.

However you knew that at some point you would be forced to confront that dark side of him again.

"I have missed you so much..." He leaned down and kissed your shoulder, you felt the tears start to fall down your face, he leaned forward and nuzzled against your throat.

"You miss him don't you?"

"He's my husband Bucky. We relied on one another for most everything."

You felt his body tense behind you.

"Do you want to stay married to him?"

That was one huge loaded question, and to be honest it was the one question that you really fucking were not ready to answer that.

"Bucky...please I can't talk about that yet, everything is so up in the air..." you started to stammer and shiver, he pulled you closer.

"Easy, I'm sorry, you should be focusing on mothering our child...not stressed..." He gently pushed you away from him and turned you to face him.

"Would it, would it be safter on a physical and...emotional level if I give you back to him, I want you and I think you made a huge mistake going with him, and I'm not even going to touch the fact that you tied yourself to him through marriage, but..."

He leaned down and kissed you on the lips, it was unexpected and you only hesitated for a moment before you decided to kiss him back.

The kiss was familiar and safe, he pulled back and put his forehead against yours, you looked up at him and saw his eyes closed and he looked like he was fighting crying.

"If it would help you have a safe delivery of our baby I will give you back to him...the last thing I want is to endanger our beautiful daughter."

You felt tears well up in your eyes at how sad and loving he sounded, you realized that he was not being selfish at all.

Bucky's soul worry was for that of your comfort and the wellbeing of your unborn child, you suddenly felt like you didn't deserve him.

"I don't know what I want, but I did agree to go with you so here I am, a few things happened with Steve that...well they are making me think things over."

Bucky pulled back again and taking your hand and leading you into the room, he had booked two beds, he looked at both of them.

"Are you willing to share a bed, and then you can tell me about what happened?"

I watched the CCTV that was on the old boat, I saw Bucky come into our room, I wasn't sure what he did when I was asleep but he all but walked out with her, I saw he was holding a gun, I wondered if she went with him willingly.

Still the very idea that he might of threatened her and our daughter with that gun enraged me.

I was pacing on the deck, I was having them drop me of in Cairo, I needed to find her, I really wasn't fond of my wife being taken from me, even if it was his baby he was pissing me off.
