"Ammi jaan ye kaun hai? (mum who is she?)" 3 years old Marium asked her mother Shabnam pointing towards the new born in her mother's arms

"Ye apki choti behen hai Marium (she is your younger sister Marium)" Shabnam replied with a smile

"Wo hamare sath khelegi na? (she will play with me right?)" Marium asked excitedly

"Kyu nahi khelegi? Zarur khelegi par jab wo bari ho jayegi abhi to wo choti hai. (why will she not play? Obviously she will play but when she will grow up for now she is young)" Shabnam said smiling

Her life is perfect for now! She has two daughters and a loving husband who only loves her. She is blessed to have a family like this. Maybe Farukh is a commoner and she had to leave the luxuries but it is worth it.

She prayed to Allah to keep everything fine but as we know too much happiness is the calmness before a storm and for them it is that only.

"Sher ye kya sun rahe hai hum? Aap Khana kyu nahi kha rahe? (Sher what is this that I am listening to? Why are you not eating?)" Nawab asked his son who did not even bothered to turn around to greet his father

"Dekhie nawab sahab Apke Sher ne kuch bhi nahi khaya hai subah se aise unki tabiyat nasaz ho jayegi (see Nawab your sher has not ate anything from morning like this he will fall sick)" Noor Begum said

"Apni Ammi jaan ko kyu pareshan kar rahe hai aap sher? Kha lijiye! (why are you bothering your mother Sher? Eat!)" Nawab said

"Ye dekhie sher hum apka pasandida Sheer kurma bana kar laye hai aap ko to bahut pasand hai na ye? Ap apni choti Ammi jaan ke haat ka sheer kurma nahi khayenge? (See sher I made your favourite Sheer kurma, you love it very much right? You will not eat your choti Ammi jaan's hand made sheer kurma?) "Zeenat Begum Nawab's second wife and Sahir's mother said

But again they got silence in reply.

" Apko kya chahie Sher? Bataye na Humein hum denge apko aisa bhookey to na rahe? (What do you want Sher? Tell me I will give you that but please do not stay hungry like this)" Noor Begum said pleadingly

She loves her son the most in this world and can do anything for him. She wants the best for her son and she always makes sure that he always gets the best.

" Abba jaan jante hai, (father knows)" Sheryaar replied finally breaking his silence

"Kya chahiye hamare Sher ko de dijiye na! (What my Sher wants please give him that)" Noor Begum requested Nawab

"Ap janti bhi hai kya chahiye unhe? (Do you even know what he wants?)" Nawab asked raising his eyebrows in a questioning manner

"Jo bhi ho de dijiye na (Whatever it is give it to him)" Noor Begum said

"Jaisi Ammi waise hi bete hai dono ziddi (like mother like son both are stubborn)" Nawab mumbled under his breath

"Wo Marium se Nikah karna chahte hai (He wants to marry Marium)" The moment this words left his mouth the room fell silent

Noor Begum was at loss of words she did not understand what should she reply now

"Marium kaun? (who is Marium?)" Noor Begum asked though she knows who is she but she wants to reconfirm if it is the same Marium or not

The fact that her 10 years old son is demanding a wife is not shocking or something to be worried about but who he wants to marry definitely is for Noor Begam.
