Author's pov

A girl in her twenties is standing on a bridge probably waiting for someone as she is continuously staring in a particular direction at the other end of the bridge.

"Kab ayenge wo? Humein unhe ye khush khabri deni hai wo bhi jald se jald, (when will he come? I want to give this good news to him as soon as possible)" the girl mumbled as she played with the white dupatta that she has paired with a sky blue colour Anarkali suit

A small smile was on her lips that was not going away at all. She was too excited for this. Because this disclosure can change her life completely.

Soon a car came towards her and stopped in front of her.

A young guy in his late twenties came out of the car with an irritated look on his face.

"Humein yahan bulane ki wajah jaan sakte hai hum begum sahiba? (can I know the reason behind you calling me here my dear wife?)" that man said and the way he said 'Begum sahiba' it was clear that he was mocking her

She clutched her stole tightly in her fist and took a deep breath. She needs to do this. She needs to tell him.

" Hum hakima sahiba ke pass gaye the kyunki hamari tabiyat kuch thik nahi thi. (I went to meet the doctor because I was not feeling well)" that girl said with fear

She is scared shitless because the man in front of her can do anything any moment.

"To kya chahti hai aap? Hum apna sab kam chor kar aap ki khidmat kare? (So what do you want? Should I leave my all work and serve you?)" the man shouted at her making her close her eyes in fear

"hamare pas zaya karne ke liye Waqt nahi hai Sitara! Jo bhi kehna hai saaf saaf kahe. (I do not have time to waste sitara. What ever you want to say, say it clearly." That man added

"Ap pita banne wale hai Rehan ji, hum pet se hai, (you are going to be a father Rehan ji, I am pregnant!)" Sitara said in a low tone

A light pink hue coated her cheeks without her knowledge. Maybe every girl feels this when they inform their partner about their pregnancy.

She was waiting for him to say something! At least show some happiness after all he was going to be a father but his next words crashed her hopes brutally.
