Five days passed from the day when Marium got married to Sheryaar, or, as I say, she was caged by him in the name of marriage. These five days were a disaster for Marium. She was suffering from period cramps. On top of that, she had to work like other maids and sleep on the cold floor as well. 

Thanks to her periods, Sheryaar avoided touching her and completely ignored her existence except for insulting her here and there. It's not that she minded being ignored by him, it was good, or at least that's what she thought. She just cooked for him and served the same to him. That was the only time they came face to face. 

By now her naive self understood that her husband is not going to love her ever, nor will he take care of her for some unknown reasons. She doesn't have the guts to ask him about it. 

She was not allowed to meet her mother as well. Her mother in law Noor Begum, hated the sight of Marium, but still, she had to bear her presence for the sake of her son. She still didn't understand why he married her when there were thousands of ways to punish her for the deeds she did. Why was it necessary to give her his name? even though no one knows that she is his wife. They know he got married, but no one knows who she is. The new bride is the maid of the mansion, and this news is hidden from everyone. 

Zeenat Begum tried to help Marium out of her miserable situation, but Noor Begum didn't let that happen. Sheryaar's father treated her well, surprisingly, he loved her, but still, no one did anything to stop Sheryaar, or rather, no one could do anything to stop him. 

Marium didn't have any time to think about things because she had lots of work to do the whole day, and at night she was dead tired. 

"Suno! (Listen)" Sheryaar said making Marium stop in her tracks she was on the way to make her bed on the floor to sleep 

She is very tired and just wants to sleep. Why is he stopping her now that she is not understanding? 

"Ji (yes)" she replied 

"Tumhara mahina khatam ho gaya hai na? (Are your periods over?)" Sheryaar asked and Marium lowered her gaze immediately 

She doesn't know how to respond to that question. He is asking her about something very intimate, but he is her husband; he has to know. 

"Ji (yes)" she replied hesitantly. 

After hearing her reply, Sheryaar held her hand and tugged her towards him. It was like he had been starving for days; indeed, he had been starving for her. He is no saint to not feel anything when his wife is sharing the same room with him. He is a virgin, and he has waited for this day as well. Controlling the urge to claim his wife was not easy for him at all. 

Marium was shocked by his sudden move, but she understood that he must be wanting to be intimate with her. He would have done it that day if she didn't get her period. 

"Hum jo hamara hai wo le rahe hai rokne ki ya chillane ki himmat bhi mat karna (I am taking what is mine so don't you dare to stop me or shout at me)" He said and Marium nodded immediately 

It's not that she would have stopped him anyway. Why will she? After all, he is her husband.

Without wasting a single moment, Sheryaar crashed his lips on her soft ones. He was sucking on them like he was sucking on some candy. Her lips were like a sweet treat for him, which he liked to devour. Marium didn't understand what she was supposed to do, so she stayed still.
