Few years later
"Adha kilo Gajar de dijiye chacha jaan, (Pack me half kg Carrots uncle)" A girl asked the vendor who was selling vegetables in an impatient way
She is already running late to reach her home. She was supposed to be in her home by now but she is not and her desire to play with other girls and gossip is to be blamed. She decided to make a vegetable stew for lunch but saw she is lacking carrots and her younger sister loves them so she needs to add it.
"Abhi dete hai khatun aur kuch chahie apko? (Giving it right away Mam do you need something else?)" The vendor asked packing carrots
"Nahi chahiye kuch aur ap jaldi kare (No I do not need anything else please hurry up)" She said and gave the money to him once he handed her the carrots
"Aaj to tum gayi, Mehjabin bhuki hogi aur tumhe ammi jaan ko bhi to khilana hai, Humein rukna hi nahi chahiye tha beech me khelne ke liye, (Today you are so gone, Mehjabin must be hungry and you need to feed ammi jaan as well. I should not have stopped there to play with them in between." She mumbled inaudibly while she walked towards her home in a fast pace
" Ya allah kitni sardi hai aj (Oh allah it is so cold today)" she complained about the weather and almost reached her home but stopped when she spotted so many men outside of her house, not any men but the Nawab's men.
"Hamare ghar ke bahar nawab ke Admi kya kar rahe hai? (what are Nawab's men doing outside of my house?)" she asked herself and walked slowly towards her home
She entered inside her home and saw a man standing there and he looked very angry and not at all satisfied with his surroundings.
" Asalaam e waleykum janab aap kaun? Aur aapko kya chahiye? (Greetings, who are you, sir? And what do you need?)" she asked the man and her younger sister came running towards her
"Api yeh jahab Humein leke ja rahe hai kahin. Ammi jaan ko le gaye hai aur Keh rahe hai hamare rishtedar hai Mamu jaan ke ghar se hai. (Sister this sir is taking us somewhere. They took our mother and told us that he is our relative from Our maternal uncle's side.) " Mehjabin told her elder sister everything that happened
She looked at the man and immediately looked away when he looked at her with those scary eyes. His gaze is Colder than Kashmir's Weather itself. She felt a shiver go down her spine.
" Ap kaun hai janab? Humein ilm nahi hai aap ki pehchaan ka muaf kare, Hamari ammi jaan ko kyu leke gaye hai ap? ( I am sorry I am not aware of your identity. Who are you? Why did you take my mother with you?)" She asked lowering her gaze only
For some reason the man who appears like the Devil in front of her is giving her negative vibes. Her gut is screaming to run away if she wants to live peacefully but it was impossible to happen.
"Ilm nahi hai? Pure Kashmir ko pata hai hum kaun hai aur tumhe nahi pata? Acha chutkula tha (You are not aware? Whole Kashmir knows who I am and you do not? Nice joke,)" That guy said and she felt nothing but malice and disgust in his words
She does not remember herself doing something that can anger the Nawabs. She has stayed normally even after her father's demise not for once she thought to seek any help from them because they are no one to her except her well wisher who had been there for her always. He does not look like any man who works for the Nawabs; the Aura he radiates is something very dangerous.
"Ham sach me nahi jante janab ham chutkula nahi suna rahe hai (I actually do not know sir, I am not joking with you)" the girl elaborated
"Api sab keh rahe hai ki ye chote nawab hai Mamu jaan ke bare bete. (Sister everyone is saying he is young Nawab uncle's elder son)" Mehjabin said and the girl snapped her head towards her sister
