A week passed

And it was normal,Nothing extraordinary really happened besides tending to my family. Was happy that Ruslan and my father started to share conversations here and there whenever they were around each other. What really made me happy was how my dad had no problem playing the grandpa role to Makar, I was expecting to be standoffish because that's usually my dad vibe but since he came back in the states he made himself at home.

The week was perfect if you don't count my dad swearing up and down Ruslan scam people for a living. Which Ruslan entertains by saying that's why accounting is easy.

Currently sitting on the front porch with Lyanna just enjoying the day waiting on Makar to come home from school.

"I've been pondering something." I randomly said as I stir the straw in my glass jar before taking a sip of the ice tea.

"And that is?" She asked rocking back and forth on the rocking chair as I stretched a little being comfortable in the lounge chair.

"Makar birthday coming up and I wanna do something special." I said and saw how my sister perked up.

"Really?" She said in a awe way which put a smile on my face. "He bout to be an even number, look at that." Lyanna fanned her face as if she was trying not to cry.

"Yeah, which is why I was so pressed that you wanted to leave after seeing dad." I shared my feelings and she shook her head.

"We didn't even make a flight yet. I'll just tell Halston we're going back home later this month." She said waving off the little worried I had.

"You really live in Russia?" I asked and she smiled nodding her head.

"Yep, surprisingly I like it there and starting understand the language. I have to much pride to asked Halston to teach me it's more so I wanna learn it and surprise him one day." She expressed and I smile admiring my sister finally growing up.

"Y'all cute. I'm glad you treating each other better than before." I told her and she put her hand over her heart.

"Thank you, plus I needed to tone it down, looking back at shit I was doing the fucking most- shit meant up most." She corrected herself which cause me to snicker. "I'm trying not to curse that much this shit hard." She complained and I laugh.

"What made you want to do that?" I asked. Cursing is like her first language.

"I don't know thinking it's me developing a mother brain. For example had no problem cursing around Makar and well now it feels weird like he needed to cover his ears." She said and I giggle.

"Awe Lyanna not you getting a parent brain." I said clapping my hands.

"Mhm anyways what you got plan for his birthday?" She asked and I grab my phone from the table going straight to my notes.

"His favor person right now is the Thor so we having a theme party, he dosent know though. Still getting the bouncy house if not we should already have it since he didn't go to the book fair. Catering service is me because my food taste good, but there will be like store bought cake and cupcakes. His cake is going to be shape like Thor hammer. Kids will have a photo booth, bags of candy, little games here and there." I said looking over my list.

"Just spoiled." She comment and we share a laugh.

"It's his day he has to feel special not only that I told Ruslan we have a serious topic to talk about." I said and she took a sip of her orange juice.

"Good or bad?" Lyanna question.

"Good, I want to adopt Makar." I said and her eyes wide as if she shock and I just smiled looking at her while nodding my head.
