Chapter Thirty Five Takes Time

He stared at me and I started to blush a little, I didn't know of I asked the wrong question. 

"Excuse me?"  He said and I crack a smile.

"Ruslan I'm not going to repeat myself." I said and he let out a laugh nodding his head.

"Yeah." He answered and I nod my head while the back of the car door open reveal Makar loud voice.

"Hi, I can get use to this." The boy said getting in the car. I looked back at him raising an eyebrow as he looked dumbfounded for a second. "Oh being picked up by you two." He pointed out and I nod my head turning back around. Ruslan pulled off as we began to be on our way home.

"How was the field trip?" I asked looking out the window. 

"I made a painting it's better than Bob ross." His voice rang and I heard him rummage through his bookbag pulling out two canvases and hand them to me. One was an attempt of a nice sunset and the other had mountains and you can see that he try to make a reflection by copying it on the bottom. 

"These are nice Makar, where do you want theses hang?" I asked and he perk up sitting up on his seat more but Ruslan told him to sit back and put his seatbelt on, the boy listened.

"One in the livingroom and the other in the family one." He said and I nod my head and tilt the canvas a little showing Ruslan. He look and it and nod his head pointing at the second canvas before setting his eyes back on the road. I handed Makar paintings back as we drove home, I was dozing off a bit and when I close my eyes and open them I was home. Makar open my door and I almost lean out but sat up stretching taking my seatbelt off.

"You tired, can I have a friend over?" He ask and I raise an eyebrow. Since when did this boy had friends.

"Ask your fathe-"

"I did he told me to ask you because you had a long day." He said and I look at Ruslan who was checking his phone before stepping out and Makar help me out.

"Yeah baby you can have company over." I said and Makar cheered yes running over to towards the front door opening it. I felt an arm wrap around my waist and I look to see Ruslan. "You look tired." I said as we both walk into the house and he kept his hand around my waist as I gently pat his face and fix his tie. 

"You do to." He said rubbing his eyes a little. 

"I'll tell Katia to keep an eye on Makar and his friend." I said and he shook his head no.

"Already told Victoria to do so." He said and I made an o expression as he guide us upstairs. Going to his room, I took my shoes off and instantly crawled on his bed laying in the middle of it. I turn me head over to see him close the door taking off his shoes and undoing his tie. I laid watching the view while he was taking his shirt off and he looked at me. "You staring love." He smirk and that put a smile on my face.

"I want attention." I admit and patting the bed as he walk over then getting laying down. I moved over laying my head down on his chest and putting my leg over his. We laid here in silence as I started to hummed a little, playing with his hair Ruslan kept his eyes as he was breathing normal. Clam right now, I decided to be childish a little and sit up but in his lap staring at him. He open his eyes looking at me as we stared one another down. He put his arms behind his head resting.

"Attention?" He asked I smile a little hearing his voice it was deeper than usual you could tell that all this man wanted was sleep. I nod my head as he moved his hand towards mine head taking my bun out. My hair slowly falls down knowing I look like a damn mess. He showed me a soft smile and I giggle a little.

"You a big teddy bear. " I tease and he kept the smile on his face.

"To some yes." 

"Am I'm bothering you love?" I asked him as he closed his eyes again.
