"Yes it is I." My nephew said in a heroic tone I could help but let out a small laugh.

"Why do you have your dad's phone." I asked getting in the car.

"Because it was in my phone case."  He answered and I hummed. Oh he switched it on purpose.

"Ah I see; anyone called his phone today?" I asked a follow up question.

"Um no oh no Papa Mr Martel called." Makar corrected himself and I raised an eyebrow.

"About?"

"That's between us." Makar said becoming offended and I closed my eyes knowing I'm about to deal with a stubborn ass kid.

"I- .. Makar, how are you on the phone anyway?" I asked, shouldn't the school be on that.

"I'm in homeroom and when Papa Martel called me I was at I was in the halls." He explained. "I'm a busy guy." He comments and I laugh.

"I see, you mind telling me what you and Martel talked about? I could use the help." I asked.

"Why do you need help from me?" He asked me.

Never in my life I would think a 7 year old will hide important information or something.

"Makar." I pinched the bridge of my nose cause what am I even going through right now.

"Uncle Caesar I'm just asking a question." His smart ass said with an entitlement tone.

"Makar; whatever you discuss with your papa could help me and your dad at work that's all I'm saying." I tried to reason with him.

"But I'm not getting nothing it return; that's a rat." Makar said sounding like Ruslan.

"Where the fuck did you lear- McDonald's." I cut my sentence off. I realized I didn't even start the car yet because I'm entertaining this conversation.

"You pushy, he told me not to give my dad phone to nobody okay and uhhh to tell mom to swing by." He finally answered my question and I hummed.

"Your mom not feeling well so I'll swing by his house." I stated and it went silent for a split second.

"Is she okay?" He asked me.

"She fine your little sister is making her tired that's all." I told him and he hummed I chuckled a little at that.

"We'll tell her to drink some ginger ale she gives that to me when I'm not feeling well." He suggested and I smiled finally leaving the house getting on the road.

"I'll make sure to tell her." I assure him.

"And to eat soup; I recommend chicken soup, not the noodles the can." He said in a stern tone and I nod my head.

"Right, I'll be picking you up later." I told him and he sounded like he got excited.

"You can pick me up now." He said and I laugh.

"No." Hanging up.
