Knock twice on the door before entering the home office I see Ruslan on the phone writing a few things down. He's been in his office from the start of his day, he looks tired and stressed. He looked at up making eye contact before going back to finishing up what he was writing then moved on to his laptop. I walk towards his desk and slowly closed it.

"Around one o clock in the morning Lyanna found Halston. At ten thirty they'll be coming over." I said and he put his phone down bringing both hands covering his face before running them through his hair letting out a sigh.

"Alright." He said and continue picked up the phone talking in his native language. I shifted side to side feeling a little awkward I want to have a conversation about the wall he immediately put up because of family issue. I also don't want to add to stress. Looking around I walk over to the two book cases that was on his left. Browsing pulling one out but sliding it back since the cover really didn't interest me. I heard two snaps and I look at Ruslan who had a eyebrow raise before telling whoever's was on the other end to hold on. "Anything else?" He asked and I raised an eyebrow.

"No, well I just thought you can use a little company, you've been distant since we found out that Halston an addict." I said and he tilt his head.

"Don't call him that and I'm working so you not going to get much time with me." He spoke and I instantly call bullshit on this excuse. Sorry but that just don't make sense to me, I bit my tongue staring at him then shared my thoughts.

"Make it make sense." I said and I gulp because it came out in a smart tone but I'm not going to lie it is frustrating, not communicating is frustrating.

"Excuse me?" He asked and I was about to say something else but got interrupted by little Makar busting through the door happily.

"I'M HOME DID YA MISS ME DID YA!?" Makar outside voice rang through the room before I was greeted with a tight hug from him. I smile hugging him back, even though he was gone for like a day it was to long for me.

"You know I miss you." I smile and pinch his nose making the boy laugh, I felt a little weight lift off my shoulders. Makar like a ball of positivity and we need that right now.

"Today Monday right?" Ruslan spoke catching both of our attention and Makar nod. "Why didn't Avery take you to school?" He asked and that did clicked in my head.

"It's field day and I don't feel like being outside all day." Makar crossed his arms part of me understood that and the other part i kinda wanna laugh about it due to the fact this little boy skipped school because he honestly didn't feel like going.

"Fair enough." Ruslan shrug going back to his work and I glared at him.

"Did you two had a fight again?" Makar whispered and I shook my head no.

"Your dad grumpy that's all baby." I pat his head and he smile bright.

"Ohh yeah Aunty Ave brought Aunty Anastassia over. She wanted me to tell you that." Makar said grabbing his father attention. "But ima go in my room because I'm tired and I want to play the game." He said and I couldn't help but laugh at his bluntness. Makar turned around leaving and I took my phone out checking the time which was nine fifty. I followed Makar out the door making my way to the steps going downstairs. The front door opened and in walk Caesar with the same bored expression his hair was down and he was wearing a brown turtleneck and black slacks with black dress shoes to match. His jacket was the same color before he took it off hanging it on the rack and pushing his glasses up some.

"Where did you come from?" I tend to start a little convo. Caesar blink looking at me and then looked behind himself before bringing his attention back on me.
