Who's The Lucky One?

Arriving at the port, you all went onto the boat. After everyone got on, it set sail. "Why is it so hot...?" Lucy moaned, "Wasn't it snowing the other day? Feels like my skin's gonna melt off... I'd love to turn into a popsicle but Happy'd just eat me..." she complained. "Lu, I know it's ridiculously warm, but do you have to sit like that?" You sweat dropped. "You think it's warm?" Cana asked. "It's freaking boiling here year-round 'cause there's like, never any wind." She was fanning herself. Wendy groaned because of the heat. "So hot..." Happy said. "My kingdom for an ice cream cone..." Lucy said. "Kingdom?" You asked. "Alright, we get it, it's a scorcher. Talk about somethin' else," Gajeel said. "Juvia, aren't you hot wearing that?" Lisanna pointed out, "You're gonna get heatstroke!" Lisanna said. 

"No, I'm perfectly fine. However... one thing that might do it," she got hearts in her eyes. "Is the sight of my beloved Gray's naked body!" Juvia said. "I'm dyin' here..." Gray groaned. "So, this is what hell is like...?" Natsu was more affected by the motion sickness than heat.  He walked near Loke, who raised his hands. "Yo! Point that puke cannon somewhere else, bro." He said. Natsu leaned on the railing, "It wouldn't be so bad if Wendy or (Y/n) casted that miracle spell on me again..." Natsu said. He lurched over the railing, throwing up. "Sorry Natsu. But Gramps said that I couldn't help any of the participants." You said. Wendy smiled sheepishly, "Sorry, Natsu... Hang in there!" "Well, isn't this touching. Here they are about to engage each other in brutal combat, and they're being all buddy-buddy." Evergreen sat next to Elfman, fanning herself. "Agh... I'm roasting! I'm like a man steak!" Elfman said. "Would you mind roasting away from me?" Evergreen asked. "Hey, Happy... Turn into a popsicle," Lucy said weakly. "I'll just taste like dried fish and regret..." Happy said. "At this point, I'd put almost anything in my mouth as long as it's cold..." Lucy said.

"We've arrived," Loke announced. "Woah... It's weird lookin'," Gray commented. Sure took us long enough," Gray said. "That's the ugliest island ever!" Lucy said. "You think? It looks.. kinda manly to me," Elfman said. ""An island on top of an island, huh?" "It's amazing...! So much magic power, I can feel it all the way over here!" You said. "Most impressive..." As you got up, you heard the Master. "There's a legend about this place. That it was once populated by Fairies." Makarov said. "Is the legend true?" You asked as you, Lucy and Gray walked to the front. "Nobody knows but it is great importance to our guild. The resting place of our First Master, Mavis Vermillion!" Makarov said. And you're going there dressed like that?!" Gray asked, sweat dropping. "Said the nudist to the stylish man," Master retorted, pulling out a fan and fanning himself. "Speaking of which," Lucy cut in, towards Gray, "Mind putting some clothes on?" "Anything else? I'd like to reveal the first round of your trial, if I may."

Makarov said. "There's more than one round?" Wendy asked. "If any of the Master's events were ever deemed simple, he'd probably keel over," Mest informed her. "Please direct your attention to the smoke coming from the shore!" Master announced, "Your first task will be to head to its source. Once there, you will choose one of the nine passages. Each is meant for a single team only, so don't dawdle and pick one! After you've made your choice, you will have to conquer these obstacles." A picture appeared, showing the nine passages with yours, Mira's, Erza's, and Gildart's faces on them. "Teams that make it through these tests in one piece will advance to the second round." Makarov said. "Woah..." Natsu said. ""That last one is fighting S-Classers... 'Intense Combat,' no joke." Gray said. ""Yeah, right..."Lucy said. "What's the 'Serenity' routes?"Loke asked. "Combat' route is self-explanatory. Two teams clash but only one moves on, use every power at your disposal. 'Intense Combat' routes are more difficult, find yourself on these and you'll be fighting one of Fairy Tail's Elite! On the 'Serenity' routes, you'll pass the first round without fighting but you will still be tested. Passing this challenge requires quality teamwork! And a whole lot of luck!"Makarov said.

"HOW DO YOU TEST THAT?!"Everyone asked. "Let's count on good luck, right?" Lucy asked Cana. "Even as a gambler, I think that strategy blows," she sweat dropped. "With 1 in 9 odds, be ready to brawl." She said. "If I've done the math correctly, only a maximum of 7 teams will make it to the next round." Evergreen said. "This sucks...!" Elfman said, "If we pick the routes with the S-Classes, we're gonna get a manly pounding!" Evergreen turned to him. "You're no real man, you're a real wimp!" "The first round could be the end of us, I don't wanna have to fight a bunch of my friends..." Levy said. Gajeel, who was using Levy's head as an armrest, smirked. "Sounds great to me, I've been lookin' for an excuse to punch one of these fools..." She deadpanned at him, "Yeah, I know." "Alright, ready? Your trial starts now!" Makarov said. "What?" Gray asked. "Hold up, it starts before we get on the island?" Loke said. 

Makarov let out a chuckle. "You know what that means, bud. Time to jet." Natsu said. Happy nodded. Natsu climbed onto the railing of the boat. Happy clung onto him and they started to fly. "Looks like the first peek is ours losers!" Natsu yelled. "Catch ya later!" Happy shouted. "Hey, get back here!" Gray said. "Losers?! You wanna die?!" Elfman asked. They crashed into an enchantment that Freed put up. "An enchantment?" Cana asked. Freed and Bickslow flew away from the boat using their magic. "It isn't permanent. Five minutes on that boat won't kill you" Freed stated. "Speak for yourselves!" Natsu said. "That's cheating!" Gray said. "I don't understand why you don't just keep them trapped there all day." Bickslow said. "It wouldn't be much of a trail then." Freed said. The other contestants that were stuck on the boat were outraged. Everyone was trying to get out. "Gramps, do something! That's gotta be against the rules." Gray yelled. "Chill, it's not a race." Makarov said. "If he gets to the island first we're all screwed. He could cover the whole place with enchantments!" Gray said. See ya later." You said. "Where are you going?" Everyone asked. "On Tenrou Island" And then you were gone. You teleported yourself on the island.

Time Skip

"Hey, Erza! Quit hiding and fight me! I'd like to kick your butt today!" Natsu said. "Natsu we don't even know if this is her route or not. You need to remember that." Happy said. "No! I chose E for Erza so it's got to be her path!" Natsu said. "I'm gonna claim the title of S Class wizard! And I'll have a ball kicking Erza's teeth in while I do it!" Natsu said. "Check it out. The path ahead opened up!" Happy said. "He. He. He." Natsu chuckled. Suddenly Natsu saw something. "I think I see somebody." Natsu said. "Is it Erza?" Happy asked. They both gasped when they saw you standing there. You smiled. "Sorry, Natsu, dead end. Luck just isn't on your side today." You said. "We're dead." Happy said. You walked forward. "I should warn ya. I've never been good at holding back in a fight. So this will be quick." You said. Natsu lit his body on fire. "Natsu?" Happy asked. "Oh yeah. I'm fired up now!" Natsu smirked.
