HAPPY ENDING!

Enid huffs a saddened sigh, it's that time of year again. The holidays are meant to spread joy and cheer, but for her, she feels none of that. She can't even remember the last time she spent a cheerful Christmas with her family. She ignores the excited muffled chatter outside from her Nevermore peers. Despite the fact she told her mom that she finally 'wolfed out' through text, she received nothing, but her message being read. She is an outcast among other outcasts, a dry huff of a chuckle leaves her mouth.

Wednesday was almost finished packing her bags to go home for the holidays. The Addams girl certainly didn't want to spend any more unnecessary time in this forsaken school.

Though she couldn't help but notice Enid's unusual gloomy mood. She looked over at Enid staring down at her phone, "Enid?" Wednesday asked, wondering if she's okay she doesn't like seeing her upset.

Enid looked up from her phone and faced her, "I-I'm fine it's nothing..." Wednesday sighed. she could tell something was off.

Wednesday crossed the black tape separating their dorm.

"You're spending Christmas alone again, aren't you?" Wednesday said feeling a pain in her chest

Enid nodded, not looking at her, "Yes... but it's fine there's plenty of stuff to do..." Wednesday slightly frowned, she didn't want Enid to be alone and she sighed, "Pack your bags you're coming with me"

Enid didn't bother hiding her surprise, "Y-you want me to come home with you for Christmas?"

"Yes." Giving the werewolf nothing more than a simple answer.

The blonde hops off of her bed, "Okay! When are we leaving?" Feeling excited and nervous about the change of event.

"Less than an hour, so you better hurry."

Enid squeals, she can't believe she is going to spend more time with her roomie/friend. Wasting little to no time, she grabs her luggage and packs some clothes and items she might need.

Wednesday sits up from the bed and walks back to her side of the dorm, feeling a twinge of satisfaction from seeing Enid's uplifting mood. Out of the corner of her eye, Thing taps on the table.

"I'm inviting her, because it's pitiful seeing her in such a gloom."

Thing taps and moves around.

"No, I don't care for her."

Thing taps, remaining unconvinced by her answer.

"Believe what you want, that is the truth."

Not long after Wednesday hears their family's 1933 Packard V-12 outside and she looks at Enid, "Are you ready?" She asks and Enid nods as her reply, ready to see Wednesday's parents again after parents weekend.

Wednesday and Enid headed down to the car where Lurch was waiting, he helped put their bags in the trunk as they slipped into the back seat, Enid knowing to keep her distance from Wednesday.

"Thank you Wednesday.." Enid said softly.

Wednesday looked at her, "I pitied seeing you in such a gloomy state." She stated flatly, though Enid swore she saw her eyes soften for a fleeting moment.

Soon after getting in the car, they arrived outside the Addams Family manor. Enid expected nothing less of the weeping trees with curling branches and mansion that looked straight out of a horror film. Wednesday's parents and her brother were all waiting for her arrival. Wednesday stepped out of the car and was immediately greeted by her father, "My little storm cloud!" Gomez said happy to see his viper again.
