Summary:

Watching Enid and Wednesday fall for each other, from the perspective of Bianca.

———————————————

It's obvious when it happens. There's almost an energy around them, something that can be seen past Addams' stoic expression and Sinclair's near bouncy attitude. It's a warmth she could recognise well, and knew what it meant, but wouldn't be the one to spill the beans, so to speak.

So, Bianca kept quiet, content to watch as Enid and Wednesday recognised they had feelings for eachother, and slowly began to process this information.

The first real sign progress had been made was after summer. Enid had arrived first and spoken excessively to Yoko about her summer, how she spent most of the time texting Wednesday. Bianca's ears pricked at the announcement, thinking to herself texting? Can the dead learn that fast?

Yoko was still on a slight high from a fresh hunt the night before, so even she jumped when Wednesday made her presence known to the pair.

"Hello Enid, Yoko."

Enid hesitated, a barely noticeable nod being the only qué she required to latch herself onto Wednesday in the biggest hug Bianca had seen. The dark girl didn't seem to mind, her eyes actually fluttering, until a cough brought their attention to the resident tortured artist. Xavier raised his arms in a gentle way, inviting almost.

"Where's my hug?" He asked, and daggers replaced Wednesday's eyes as she bore them into him.

"At the bottom of a ditch. Perhaps you're better off looking there."

She had to hand it to him, he laughed despite her uncaring tone. Yoko seemed interested in something else altogether, turning her head and dropping her glasses slight to meet Bianca's gaze.

She must have also noticed how Wednesday stayed close enough to keep an arm around Enid's waist, the taller girl resting hers over her shoulders with a familiar touch.

The second instance of evidence, in her mind anyway, was a week later. A mystery was brewing, and Wednesday found herself caught in the center, because of course she did. She never found a way to switch off, not even at dinner, sat beside Enid with a small leather tome in her free hand, researching as always, her brow constantly furrowed.

"Aren't you even going to eat, Addams?"

The tiny girl glanced up from her book with a hollow stare.

"No. I don't eat while I'm researching."

Bianca sighed out of pure exhaustion, wondering how Enid could even stand her, let alone like her. The blonde across from them shuffled closer, a look flashing over her face before she faced Wednesday with a grin.

"I have an awesome idea!"

Wednesday looked away from Bianca, her gaze weakening from the harsh 'I will cut you' stare she had for everyone but her roommate. Enid was bouncing a little, one of her hands holding Wednesday's free one, the other holding a fork.

"I take a bite, you read, you take a bite, I read! That way we eat, and research too!"

Wednesday frowned.

"That seems oddly time consuming for a lacking benefit. How would any progress be made?"

Enid touched the fork to her mouth in thought.

"Dang you're right... hm, but now we're debating it too, so more time is lost!"

Wednesday closed her eyes with a heavy huff.
