Getting transferred to Nevermore was not in her plans, much less ending up with her complete opposite of a roommate. Wednesday couldn't understand how someone could be so colorful and energetic all the time, more so with such terrible taste in music and a need to gossip about others constantly. It was the closest anyone had ever been to driving her insane.

At the beginning, whenever Sinclair started to talk, the Addams girl just wanted to throw her out the balcony; whenever the other gave her that annoying smile she just wanted to stab her with one of her knives; whenever her roommate dare to touch her a bit, she felt like strangling her. But every time she threatened to do any harm to Enid if she didn't leave her alone, the blonde would just laugh it up.

Eventually, after a while, things started to change. Wednesday got used to Enid Sinclair and her particular quirks. No longer was she bothered by constant talk; she now used it as background noise; the smiles sent her way would make her body heat up from the inside; the small touches would make her feel spiders crawling wherever the touch had been. And the laughter... Oh, that sound made her feel as if she had been electrocuted.

It took her a while to realize she wasn't sick or getting cursed, at least not in the way she thought. Realizing she had a crush (she still refused to out right call it love) on her peculiar roommate had been quite a revelation, which took several hours of continuously staring at her wall to assimilate, something that left the object of her affections quite perplexed.

After accepting it, (because really, it was best to just take it in stride rather than fight it at this point) she decided to just continue with things as they were. Or at least that was the plan, until she began to notice all the other people that paid attention to Enid; be it at class, outside of it, at lunch, on weekends, there was always someone trying to steal her from Wednesday. She didn't care if they were the blonde's so-called friends (mainly Yoko), she didn't care if said friends were already with someone else (Yoko with Bianca), she didn't care if they just wanted someone to gossip with (again, Yoko). The Addams girl didn't like the attention the other was getting, the jealous streak within her family making itself known quite early.

When Thing reminded her that she had no right to get angry at her roommate for spending time with others since they weren't a couple, the girl suddenly got an idea. Why not woo Enid Sinclair into dating her? That way the werewolf would be hers and hers alone, she'd no longer feel angry at seeing others (Yoko) interacting with her; for that way, all the sunshine girl's devotion and love would be hers.

Yes! Courting the other was obviously the best choice at that point.

With that thought in mind, Wednesday started to make a list of gifts and actions that were used in her family to demonstrate one's intentions.

"Yoko, I need your help." Enid approached the other girl one afternoon after classes have ended. She looked worried and her tone of voice was tense and a little shaky.

The vampire looked at her friend curiously, wondering what could have possible happened to the usually smiling werewolf. "Sure. Let's go to my room."

They ended up at the girl's empty room in short, the blonde sitting immediately at her bed and letting out a weary sigh.

"So, what happened? Everything okay?" Yoko couldn't help asking, worried at her friend's unusual downtrodden behavior.

"It's Wednesday. I think there's something wrong with her..." Enid bit her lip in apprehension.
